My favorite part is the description:

Um, really? Seems like sort of a self-contradictory statement to me :).

Not anymore.  Not to me, however.  They were gone by the time I saw this post.

The seller should have done a bit better research before putting this stuff up.  They also have the map from the CoC box set, priced at $22.99.

Hey everyone,

I didn't see any mention with regards to these Role Aids products.

Role Aids Kobold Hall #128 of 750

http://www.ebay.com/itm/260845531349

Role Aids Beastmaker Mountain

http://www.ebay.com/itm/260845534457

Yes, they are.  Could have sworn they were on an Acaeum valuation page, but apparently not.  *scratches head*

Search the threads, and they will show up.  :)

The Acaeum only values TSR products as far as I know.

Hey JohnGaunt,

Well those modules ended up going for some nice coin.

Role Aids Kobold Hall #128 of 750
US$170.48

Role Aids Beastmaker Mountain
US$135.05

Role Aids Blasted Lands #562 of 1000
US$189.48

Is that about how much they should be going for?

Best regards,
Ronald

No. Way over priced based on passed sales over the last few years. Priced like that were about maybe 2005/6. Don't recognise the buyer. Anyone here? Lurking? Or a new eBay ID for a regular buyer. Certainly someone with a bit of focus and money to burn.

The seller did far better than I imagine anyone would have thought. Congrads to the seller on price, and congrads to the buyer for putting on a show and securing the hardest of the five to chase down. A nice little non-TSR cornerstone of a collection slipping into place there.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Hey mbassoc2003,

What are the five titles?

And which one was the hardest of them all?

Best regards,
Ronald

Kobald Hall appears to be the hardest to find, with Blasted Lands a close second, followed by Beastmaker Mountain, Nanorien Stones and Fez I in that order (at least based on my experience).

Also of note, Beatmaker Mountain traditionally comes in a red folder, so if that's an orange foldered BM, it's unusual. Blasted Lands and Kobold Hall are traditionally orange foldered, Nanorien is in blue and Fez I is in green.

However, there are rogue copies out there in brown and yellow folders which are rediculously unusual. Not something Mayfair bought by the box load, so likely to be folder printings in small batches or samples used when they ran out of their regular print runs.

Don't you think that some copies could be Frankensteined? Orange folder from Kobold Hall to a Beastmaker Mountain for example?
