Not sure if anyone here is enough of a Traveller collector to care about this:

Or any of the other manuscripts being offered by the seller.  I guess these could be considered to be Traveller "pre-pubs".  No COA's but I dont know how easy these would be to fake.

I pinged the seller re: the rights situation, and he's retaining IP rights to the mss. content for now.  They sound pretty cool, but other than knowing that they're by the J. Andrew Keith (and that Tadashi had a really high opinion of his work), I don't know much about the Traveller scene (beyond what I picked up here, of course :D ).

His reply:

I bought the manuscripts and copyright from Andrew and published them as Cargonaut Press in the late 1990's. Was also negotiating for the purchase on an unpublished RPG system written by both Keith brothers set in Poul Anderson's Terran Empire of the Dominic Flandry novels. Sadly, Andrew passed away before he could send me the manuscript for examination and Bill Keith was understandably too upset to pursue the effort and not overly interested in having it published in any event. Andrew was a great guy and very talented; the handwritten "Scam" manuscript I am selling was written over a period of three days and has virtually no corrections or revisions. He just set down and wrote. Truly amazing. Anyway, at the time of his death, I put up a memorial web page for Andrew; while I no longer maintain it, you can still view it here if you're interested: http://www.freelancetraveller.com/jakeith/jakeith.html

TFM has a Tombs of Valla up with no reserve or ridiculous BIN.  I guess a missing dungeon map will do that.

Five double folded map sheets are missing from this product, all supplied loose. If the winner is an Acaeum member and wants to contact me, I can let you have a copy of mine to help with play and reading the adventure.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I might go around $50 for an excellent+ copy of the 1985 Jorune box set, with the box in great shape.  Not doing $100...for some reason I have an antipathy towards spiral bound items :)

Thanks for the copy.
Nice to see a rapid, comprehensive response this time as opposed to the deadly silence (and listings going private) when they were selling those masses of forged 'zines. Maybe they know a bit too much 'bout where /those/ came from? :)

I wouldn't go that high for a set, in any condition (plus I have like 3). Spiral bound items are difficult to store, for sure (can't stack 'em, can't shelve 'em), but they do have the Teves signatures, however recent (last week, LOL). I'm not particularly interested in these, myself, though it's more that I'm on a book-buying kick at the moment and don't feel like spending the cash.

And, would you be willing to sell or trade one of those Jorune box sets for less than $50?
