I'm doubtful too.  I can find a few images from the game on the internet so I think there are other copies known to be out there.  Wouldn't be surprised if you can find an online copy to download and play either.

I found a rom file for it but I dont see it listed in any of the online game databases I have used in the past.  It's listed at travellerbibliography.org but no photo.

Someone must care - up to $300 at the moment.

For an item that would be challenging to actually use.

Same seller has TG 1 to 6. Not sure they are all complete, considering the difficulty to organize them. They seem to be mixed together.

I just grabbed it. Thank you for posting. I'm barely familiar with it but I like the ICE production values. Was listed twice before with $22 BIN and didn't sell. Seller lives in the same town that ICE was based in.

The sellers feedback is kinda odd though.  8O  :?

"This is the ONLY known copy of the game "

... really?

Brette:)

*g* Can't comment on that, but this is the same individual who was selling masses of those fake Traveller 'zines, remember. Doesn't seem to have hurt their feedback. :)

Yes I had a look at his feedback when it was mentioned and I remembered him.. you don't see many "private" auctions these days so it makes you wander if he had a good idea with what he was selling.. of course it only hurts their feedback if the buying become aware that what he is buying may not be 100% what he thinks he is getting..

On a side note it looks as if that Traveller program was sold in the "whaterever brotheres" collection folder that TFM sold a while back.. not the exact same product packaging of course but was included..

Yep; that one. :) I remember the original auction, too, but still can't recall for sure if that was the second time I'd seen the folio.

At least one of the buyers said they knew they were buying fakes and were happy with that. Go figure.

Judges Guild is old-school, so its d20 versions qualify.  Mayfair's versions of Judges Guild products . . . not so much.

The ending price (almost $250) also shows that the item is collectible.

It didn't sell so the end price shows what it doesn't sell for at auction, even though it is collectable.

Hey, that's another great idea, a RPG variant of Magic Repacks ("if you are lucky you could end up with a black lotus!" - is anybody here interested in a nice bridge? A colosseum? A small Mediterranean island?)
