This took an above average amount of time to find information about:

Quotes like "While a piece of gaming history the roleplaying element was virtually non-existant" get a smile, anyhow. :)

That describes a lot of the rares.  They are rare because they were stupid.

I have only the first book.

Only the brave play this, it is perhaps the most complicated set of medieval man to man combat rules on earth. It-s a shame only a few know about it.

The term @stupid@ just doesn-t make sense. Try to devise a system like that , with all its intricate and interesting details. It was maybe the biggest effort to simulate combat in fantasy rpg-s since the release of OD&D.

Incomplete Gamma World "Adventurers" (0005) boxed set from Grenadier. Missing 4 out of the 20 figures, descriptive insert, and part of the foam. The remaining figures look good, including the separate robot tentacle arms for the medical and maintenance robotoids.

Did this go cheap?

Would have expected it to be in the $80-100 range.

I suppose the real question is, does the seller have a stack of them? He sold of a dozen four or five years back 'cos I picked up five from him.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

A bit high, perhaps: $35-60 has been more the norm for those I've seen.
I don't think he's selling them in bulk any more, either, since they're useful to draw in buyers for other sales (although if you were to offer $100 each, perhaps... ;)).

High by $2.54?   :?

Though given your comment, David, I'm wondering if these are perhaps more common over on the other side of the pond.  I've been on the lookout for a Seren Ironhand for a couple of years, and this is the first one I recall seeing in quite a while.  (Well, other than TFM's, which at a $150 BIN is a bit on the pricey side.   :P  )

to be fair Bracton, Faro did write "a bit high, perhaps" ; there were two qualifiers there. his instruments of assessment are clearly highly calibrated. :-)

Or it could have referred to Faro's current state.  'A bit high (from shrink wrap intoxication), perhaps: $35-60 has ... ' ;)

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

I don't believe such a thing is possible.  Shrink wrap is no intoxicant; it is one of the necessary elements for life as we know it (here at the Acaeum, anyway).  Just like water, air and sunlight.  Only when evidence of shrink wrap is found outside the solar system shall there be real evidence of extraterrestrial intelligence.
