Not sure if this is interesting (possibly not at this price in any case), but does anyone know if the booklets in the 2nd edition Jorune boxed set actually came shrink-wrapped inside the box? I'm dubious:

Never seen that before. I will be interested to know if anyone heard about this before too.

HUMONGOUS MERP lot.

Not a big fan, but I know this stuff goes nuts and this one started at just 99 cents.

Listing has a reserve though.

Once sold a raged looking copy of Isengard and Northern Gondor for about $18 and I recently sold a copy of Bree and the Barrow-Downs with no cover for $11...

This lot has a nice looking copy of both books, along with many other books even I recognize.

I bet this lot goes for a good amount.

Those copies of The Brandywine Star newsletter are pretty difficult to find if I'm not mistaken.  Ardor and Umbar are definitely the heavy hitters of the rest of the books though.

THE WORLD OF THE PETAL THRONE Book 1 Tekumel Source

Buy it now $ 30.

What is this actually worth? Apparently not $ 30...

(I have one of these and would sell it. )

It is hard to tell with these things. 10 years ago I had boxful and couldn't sell them for $10

These are the editions from Different Worlds aren't they? Tekumel has a strong fanbase but I've never heard that it was a large one. This is an extremely bad economy and looking to get much, much worse. My feeling is that $30 is pushing it quite far.

I remember these being $10-$15 and not terribly difficult to find.

Hey King,

Why does Court of Ardor command such a high price?
Bought mine when it first came out back in the 80's and I do like the book.

But I'm curious why it gets a higher price than some of the other books.

Also, tried contacting the seller about international shipping, but not taking questions. :P

Even though they encourage you to ask questions before bidding...

Tried contacting the seller directly from their myworld page on Ebay and that didn't work either.

Are there any other ways to get in contact with the seller on Ebay?

Best regards,
Ronald

None that I could find.  There was a seller a couple weeks ago who had US only but if you are in Canada, please contact and he would possible ship here.  Unfortunately, he wasn't taking any questions either so no one could contact him.  Ebay has really done a good job with locking things down - normally when they make a change its half-assed and there's away around it.  They still have stupid bugs that no one has gotten around to fixing.

Just harder to find.  For the MERP 1E books, it's one of the tougher ones.  At least it had been known to be tough for quite a while.  Whether it really is or not I can't say.

Rhynne, in addition it has a bit of a "coolness" factor to it, being set in a far off, exotic area of Middle-Earth (not described by Tolkien) with evil elves, etc.

Hmm.. seems easy enough to contact.. click on names, on the left had side, contact member, click on a question.. continue on to contact member?..

am I missing something?

Yep.  When you do this and select "No, I want to contact the seller" you get the message:

"We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing."

and you can't type in a message and send it off.

One of the first areas detailed it seems. Possibly a small print run until the market size had been determined.
