Ok I plan on trying to track down some rare rpg's this year.. Would people make some recomendations to the list please...

I think I had some of that a couple of weeks ago at Hunan Palace. A bit too spicy for me. :wink:

I haven't heard of any of these (not surprised though). I don't recall ever seeing listings for these in Heroic Worlds and Afterglow2 doesnt list them either so they must be godawful rare. Where do you even find advertisements for these games? Fanzines? Small regional convention dealer lists?

I tracked down and contacted one of the authors about that one - I'm curious too. However, I never heard back after the initial response. The impression I got was that it was a case where this was something the author did in high school, and currently has no interest in gaming now. He said he might still have a copy around but after a couple of follow up emails with no response, I stopped pursuing it.

i have a piracy of su fang choi. all i remember about it was the incredibly amateurish cover art. i never looked inside it.

like mars i also need the items from the following companies: calypso games, horizon international, mallema press & MMI. and no, i've never seen any of these items either; i've just seen them listed in heroic worlds. i do have the other items on mars list. btw the labyrinth games item is spelled Imliv River Valley (i'm sure it was just a typo on mars part, but for those of you without a copy of heroic worlds, i thought you might wasnt to know...). the item i'm most looking for is a 1st print tunnels & trolls, but there are over 100 other things i'm looking for as well.

There's lots of stuff not listed in Heroic Worlds too - I'm sure I have a list somewhere.

I think you were supposed to send us a list of what you had and what you needed so we could add things you had maybe missed;)

Incredibly amateurish artwork just makes me even more interested in it. It's probably a hoot to read, and perhaps a bit spicy to eat... :wink:
