Wow that's cheap.  I'd figure at least $200 for a set.

I know TheHistorian was gunning for it, but I didn't bid this time around Ralph.

I did talk with John Tynes, and he thinks that the version that sold was the first printing.

Not me.  I dropped out around $100.  Looks like a couple wanted it a bit more than that.  Not too concerned, as I've been picking up some even better stuff lately...

Indeed! My problem instead is being present for the "final battle"... but since 99% of the times the auction ends at sunday evening, i am never online... that sucks...

Missed that one.. the magazine is Sewars.. hard one to find, come up rarely at least 31 issues..

"SF Wars": that's kinda cute. Can you play that while sitting down in your Character Archair? ^^
(The first issue of Thunderstruck would've been a larger "miss" IMO: rough looking condition on both of those but it's the content that counts, no?).

SEWARS... d'oh... i was thinking to "SF smtg", hence science fiction, hence not in scope for me... next time i need to pay more attention!

FYI the thunderstruck #1 hasnt been missed... eheheh...
