OK ... 4 years of trolling and pleading ... almost got one .. then snatched away at the last moment

And now, a crimson comes up at troll and toad and is gone in an instant.

So who got it?

Maybe it was the same person who nabbed 8 copies of The Thousand Thrones at $9.95 apiece before I could post them on here.

** expired eBay auction **

I see it but I still don't know what it is (or why it is worth $60 bucks)

They were.

The day I noticed the $5 sale, they were already out of them.  Not surprising since it was a $35 book IIRC.  8O

$9.95 isnt too shabby though.

the picture in the troll & toad "stock photo" isn't accurate. i assume what obiter is referring to is the hardcover book with the red-foil set against the all-black cover. i have one that is something like #575 of 600 and one that that was one of the ten "personal" copies of kevin siembeida. i don't think these were numbered just listed as personal copies.

Actually it was $50 new.

I thought they were blowing out all the old stock of WFRP2 until they were gone, but the $5 sale ended.  Odd.

Hang in there, Graham.  Talk to T&T and I bet it'll work out to your favor.  (Not me, by the way, but I've got an inkling.)  :D

From the Palladium FAQ

The Palladium Role-Playing Game Crimson Edition     4500    $40.00    0-916211-91-6

"The Palladium Fantasy RPG "Crimson" edition hardcover will be limited to 600 copies, and through web order only. It features the Second Edition PFRPG contents, with an imitation leather version of the First Edition PFRPG's original cover."

I think it was published around 1996. I've seen a couple go for $250.
