I haven't posted updates here for a while, but I thought that you guys might like these.  I reckon they're the epitome of old school dungeon beastliness!

I have to say, though, that these things are a real bastard to photograph :x, and they look far better in real life.

This is DM16a - Gelatinous Cube (standard).  It's an 'empty' cube, cast in clear resin, and supplied with a resin 50mm square cracked paving base (unpainted).

Image

This is DM16b - Gelatinous Cube (deluxe).  This one contains a floating, undigested skeletal figure, sculpted by Paul Muller and hand-painted.  It is mounted on a painted resin 50mm square cracked paving base.

This is a shot of the floater!  All DM16b's contain a skellie painted to this standard.

Both cubes together....

....and with a Pig-faced Orc for scale.  The cubes are approximately 40mm across each side.

They will be released next week, and they're available for pre-order now in the 'Coming Soon' section of my webstore.

Let me know what you think.

If I so had the money I'd get many of your miniatures and have someone from here paint them up.  They have all been spectacular up to this point.

I love gelatinous cubes - despite their inherent silliness - they are one of my favourite monsters.  :)

Richard---

The mini looks fun, but I'd love to see a 'cube with more flotsam in it, similar to the one created by Egg of Coot over at DF @ http://www.dragonsfoot.org/forums/viewt ... 9&p=300019 (scroll down to bottom of page).

Yes that's true, I have the same feeling ! The cubes are 100% D&D !
And these models are great !
It will be cool to see them in a dwarven forge environnement.

Congratulations for your work, (and thank you for your kindness).

:D

Bumping this thread:  we were discussing the gelatinous cube minis in chat on Friday night, and Evreaux's DF link images are available once more now.
