The Black Blade Publishing release of DCC # 7 Secret of Smuggler's Cove for First Edition AD&D will be available in limited quantities at Gen Con this year.

In cooperation with Goodman Games, this nautical-themed adventure will be available at the Goodman Games booth while supplies last. (Following Gen Con, the conversion adventure will once again be available for order directly from Black Blade Publishing.)

In addition, Goodman Games will have another DCC conversion module available at their Goodman Games booth for Gen Con 2009. DCC # 36 Talons of the Horned King by Mike Ferguson has been converted from the d20/3.x rules system to First Edition AD&D and is being released in print by Goodman Games. Author Mike Ferguson did the conversion to AD&D, and Goodman Games facilitated all pre-press arrangements.

Although Black Blade Publishing was not involved with this special AD&D release of DCC # 36 Talons of the Horned King, copies of the module may be available for order directly from Black Blade following Gen Con.

OK - Now who's going to GenCon and can please pick me up these two modules?

Any indication on print runs, Jon, if that might help to hype sales further? (Not that that's the primary selling point, of course ;))

Great to hear y'all have made that key deadline. :)

I won't be going to GenCon this year so sorry guys.  Though after the good haul  , they started limiting sales to 2 per person iirc.

But then there's an outcry if they sell a lot to a few people.

You are right of course.
I recall a couple of years ago the flak that was being spread about that.

Absolutely!  I'll be buzzing the Goodman booth every day of the con, before/after my AD&D events, and will see how DCC 36 sells.

I'd like one myself, after all!   :)

No real idea what the print run will be. But Joseph Goodman has gotten pretty good at estimating how many need to be printed, if the past couple of years are any indication. So, I suspect (pure speculation on my part) that Joseph will have 250-300 of the First Edition DCC 36 modules available.
