Not a collecting issue, but a Gaming issue.

Where can I find data on Keothums (Spelling?) Ointment?
It is a healing ointment that comes in Jars.
When applied to wounds, it is able to cure various types of damage, including weapon damage, burns (Acid, Fire, Cold), and even some poisons too (When ingested).

You looking for the AD&D rules for Keoghtom's Ointment? It's on page 149 of the DMG. (Let me know if you need more than that.)

From the 1st edition DM guide page 149:

"This sovereign salve is useful for drawing poison, curing disease, or healing woulds.  A jar of the unguent is small --perhaps three inches in diameter and one inch deep --but contains 5 applications.  Placed upon a poisoned wound (or Swallowed), it detoxifies any poison or desease.  Rubbed on the body, the ointment heals 9-12 points of damage. 1-3 jars will commonly be found."

I believe there is some in the Temple of Elemental Evil so you can get some from there.

Thanks all, I swear I looked in the DMG and did not find it.
And I do not recall seeing it mentioned in the TOEE....

Old age and senility are horrible things guys.
I highly recommend putting them both off for as long as possible.
Avoiding the latter altogether would be even better.

This stuff is my thief's most prized possession, after the bag of holding anyway, because it cures disease... and lord knows he needs it after his trips to the brothels!
