Just curious how common complete sets are.

What do you have all of (in print)?

I have a complete set of Dragon Magazine, and a complete set of Strategic Review.

I also have a few issues of Dungeon Magazine (and also issues #1 and #2).

I have many issues of Polyhedron Magazine. Although I do plan on finishing the collection, it's not a priority.

I voted all three.  With Polyhedron, I have all of the numbered issues.  However, I'm not sure I have all of the unnumbered/special/weird issues.  Examples I do have include GC1 Special Edition 9/99, Membership Handbook 1.0, North America Membership Handbook V 1.5 and the "Introductory Issue" from 1989 (not to be confused with Issue 1).  I don't know how many more of these types of things have eluded me to date.

I would guess with the advent of .pdfs including the Dragon Magazine Archive covering the first 250 issues, few people have complete runs anymore.  I seem to remember one member who was going to use old Dragons as packing material to prevent damage during shipping!

I do not have ALL of, of anything....

My CD Archives includes the first 250 issues of Dragon.
As for hard copies:
I have a single copy of Dragon Issue one and a a handful of other early issues, and I have all seven of the Strategic Reviews plus three extras (1, 3, 4).

As for Polyhedrons (RPGA Newsletters)
I have Issues 1-50 except for 23, and 27....
With extra copies of some issues.

Not to say it is not a worthy colection (FAR from it) and at one time, I had once upon a time planned to collect them all, but I gave that up a long time ago.
But I have no interest in Having hard copies of all the Dragon Magazines, but I would like to have Issues 1-60 of Poly.

Please see my recent ad in the Acaeum classifieds looking for Polys.

What I would like to have is a Complete collection of Dungeon Magazine, orerhaps a CD Achive of the first ten years, or somesuch thing....

Don't really collect magazines, per se, but I have completed Judges Guild Journals and almost completed Pegasus (need #1), but also have all the Earthdawn Journals and Shadowland, with a nearly complete run of Ka*Ge as well. Getting some White Dwarfs and Citadel Journals now and then, as needed for other things. Oh, and I do have all The Crusaders as well.

That was (IIRC) SkectreWhisp........
Not sure if he was serious, but it would not surprise me to see him actually go through with it.

If he does I REALLY hope he takes pictures and posts them here. 8O
Better yet, post a video...... perhaps on YouTube.
It woud be fun to see the response if nothing else.

And I also have MOST of the Crusades, except for Issue One.....
Mr. T outbid me on that big C&C lot, or I WOULD have them all.

I chose all of both Dragon + Dungeon but really I am missing about a half dozen issues of each - I just haven't found the remaining issues for $2 or less yet.

I have about 50-60 issues of polyhedron so only about half way there.

None. Not a priority. I have Dragon 40ish through 250. Dungeon #1 and few others. Very few Polyhedrons and now I have Strategic Review #1 and #3 thanks to the NTRPG!
But all that said I am not a magazine hunter.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Only Dungeon is complete.  Have the Dragon CD and some issues after 250.

I may end up doing this as well.  I sold the adventures out of 19 issues so the remains are just lingering around.  I will probably go through them and cut out some more bits though.

Alas, poor Imagine.

Taking bets you're missing #31. Win?
(Even more fun if adding the TSR-UK HN, PAN, PAB & BE under the "Imagine" umbrella. In reality, one of the most difficult runs to complete rather than one of the easiest...).

Rather more in postage costs? Nice pickup. :)

Dragon/SA - scans through 273 and specials, dumped originals
Dragontales - yes
Dungeon - scans through 81, dumped originals
Polyhedron - 1-125 and specials, missing less than ten to finish up to 143
Imagine - 1-30, missing the special

My interest in Dragon/Dungeon/Polyhedron is through the end of 2E.  Polyhedron issues are thin and can be stored in a couple boxes, but rebuilding physical collections of Dragon and Dungeon is just more space than I want to dedicate to storage.

A guy I knew back in the days or rec.rpg.markeplace used to do this. He got suckered in ona deal for OOP Dragons, but most were in the #120-#190 range (i.e, worthless) and he had somelike like a couple dozen each.  He couldn't even sell them for a $1 each so was using them for packing material at one point.

£6.50 inc P&P & the seller made it up with another mag, totalling 8 now. And actually, I have the special now as well, although took a time to get it.   8)

Nothing wrong with freebies! Even domestic UK shipping is becoming painful $-wise these days thanks to pricing by package size and tinkering around with the weight bands.

Can be a bit of a pain that one, agreed. I did mean #31 rather than the special, though. ;)
