I have Two copies of the PPP Module CAS-1: Cairn of the Skeleton King.
They are both signed by Robert Kuntz on the front of book (inside).

They are also BOTH numbered 377.............  8O

See below:

377A

377B

I purchased them at the same time directly from the PPP Web Site.

I have had them for over two years and yet Never actually noticed the identical numbers until today.
The only reason I caught it now is that I was scanning them since I was planning on selling one of them on E-Bay.
Trying to gather some funds for the Convention next month. 8)

Anyone out there have anything to offer?

They are nothing special.  Mine is #377 as well.  377 was Rob's cholesterol level at the time of writing the module.

Keep one, burn the other - it must be a fake.

I imagine that it is a simple mistake on Rob's part.

Any chance that one copy was lost in the mail, John, and then replaced later?  IIRC Rob had some horrendous issues with lost mailings via USPS Media Mail with CotSK (but perhaps that was ToB instead???).

No good thinking though.

I ordered two copies of CotSK at the same time and they were delivered together.
I also purchased two copies of The Living Room and they too wre delivered in the same package.
Those are numbered 66 and 67 (67 is listed on E-Bay now too).
I ordered two copies of every PPP product I have purchased so far.
With the intent to sell the extra copy when I needed the money for  something more important to me.
(Like the First ever NTRPGCON)

I do not mind that the copies of CotSK have the same number, it was just wierd and I thought it would be useful to post them here for us to discuss.

I listed one of them on E-Bay to sell.
I named that copy 377A.
I am keeping 377B.

One other question for you Allan if you please?
Do you recall how many copies were published/released of CotSK?

Guess just chalk it up to a numbering error.

I'm pretty sure CotSK was 500 copies, and ToB was 350 copies.

That sounds right with Skeleton King. I can't remember if Rob had ToB at 300 or 350.

Maybe one of them is a Mimic!

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I recall that Cairn was 500 copies. ToB was issued as "x" of 350, but there were runic copies. Rob holds ToB covers in reserve for reprinting the guts.

Was Cairns 500 copies dead, or 500 copies + runics, or 500 copies + runics + comp copies & authors copies? As with Bottle City, the number of prints is larger than the number of numbered copies. BC has Comp' copies, LE's and Author's Copies as well as the numbered copies. Just for the sake of posterity, it might be worth recording the number of copies actially printed for future researchers. It's not like it's gonna have any effect on value, price, or PPP's sales.

Any news on new products?
Any tentative timescales?
