In the thread linked above I listed a Board game that I recently purchased on E-Bay.
Tower of the Wizard King

I had never seen one before and it was cheap, so I thought I would give it a try.
My two oldest grandkids (12, and 9) one of their cousins (14) and I played it today and had much fun.
(The game is set for 2-4 players)

Since none of us had ever played the game before, we used the fast play rules with a few advanced rules tossed in.
We played for 2-1/2 hours and were forced to stop with about 30 minutes left.... That time left is an estimate based on where the Wizard King was on the Castle Ramp.
(You would have to know the game rules to understand that last statement)
We stopped because the kids had to go home, but as we loaded the car they told me how much fun they had with it, and I could tell during game play that they were enjoying the game then.

The game is of course a fantasy setting, but it is also a somewhat strategic game too.
The rules and the goals of the game are easily simple enough for young kids (Pre teens) to easily understand them and swiftly begin playing, yet the strategy aspects are complex enough for adults not to get bored either.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys that type of gaming and can set aside 2-4 hours of time to play a full game.

If you have the game and/or have played it, please give us your thoughts.
