I'm doing a bit of research, and I know there are many collectors who do not post that often on these boards.
Has anyone seen, or have a copy of, Fluffy Quest I or II? I understand that these are loose leaf stapled xeroxed affairs given out at Con's in 1981 and '82.
For the record, these were combined through '83 in to Fluffy Quest, The Special Edition, and releaed at the beginning of '84 with an embossed grain white card cover printed with black text, containing a centre stapled hand drawn map with detail that did not appear in the later edition. The book was subsequently re-released later that year sporting the famous yellow and black cover with red highlights, and a new neatly drawn map minus some of the artist's details. The text in both books is identical in both layout and typeface.
So I'm trying to establish the pre-history to these two books, and am looking for owners of the original Fluffy Quest I and II handouts from the Con's.
Or even Rick Reid to pop up and answer a question or two (but that's a longshot).
This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.
