For those of you wanting to order, the web address has changed from theone listed at the beginning of this thread.  It's now:

http://www.centerstageminis.com/

Also, just so you know, this Lamia mini is 28MM and not 25MM.

Hey Matt---

Can you please post the giant and lamia next to a 25mm humanoid mini for scale comparisons?

Also:  are the alternate molydeus weapons still in the pipeline for Nov/Dec?

Sure thing, Allan. I'll take the digital camera to the office tomorrow.

The Molydeus alternate weapons are indeed in the pipeline, but sadly, not until the first part of 2012. They'll go hand in hand with Tim's Erinyes commission for the Denizens of the Planes range.

(Wait a minute, did I spill something I shouldn't have...?)

Ok, here they are. Excuse the poor images, just wanted to give you the size comparison you requested.

The 28mm Mountain Giant next to the 25mm Demon Witch from Secret Skeleton Miniatures....

Image

and finally the 28mm Lamia next to the 25mm Demon Witch. Although they look similar in size, the head and features of the Lamia actually look larger when you have at them in hand. The Lamia is mounted on a 40mm base and the Demon Witch is mounted on a 25mm base.

Hope that helps!

SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT - if you like the Demon Witch in the photos, she's available in our online store at http://www.centerstageminis.com. Center Stage Miniatures is now the exclusive distributor of Wes Herbst's Secret Skeleton range in addition to our own products!

It's not a partnership, technically - I'm distributing his miniatures, that's all.

But I do think our products compliment each other nicely.

:D

I'd be interested in a Glacial Wyrm update.....:bounce:

Center_Stage wrote:As promised, here is a final pic of CSM-007, Glacial Wyrm, sculpted by Jason Wiebe. The front picture doesn't show you half of the detail on this sculpt - but it does show a (Reaper, I believe) sculpting dolly in the foreground so you get an idea of scale.

More pictures this fall as I get closer to the release date, but hopefully this might spark some interest.

:)

Also, I don't think the Lamia photo is correct on the Lost Minis Wiki page:

The model featured on The Lost Minis Wiki is the original lamia, which was replaced by the new Patrick Keith sculpt in November. So technically they're both CSM-003, but that isn't the current version. The Lamia currently available looks like this:

Image

(Hope I didn't break any forum rules with the painted metal boobage...)

As for the Glacial Wyrm, master molds are being made the first week in January and the Wyrm itself will be available in-stock for purchase Jan. 31. It's the largest figure CSM has released to date.

Check out the new website, too, if you get the chance at www.centerstageminis.com. There are a few sales running through the end of the year, and our forums are updated more regularly there. I've been so busy with the full-time job and keeping up with CSM in my off time that I don't stop by my favorite forums as much as I would like...

Thanks, guys!

January releases are here!

Master castings of the Glacial Wyrm are off to be painted, and we'll have the model itself in stock by Jan. 31. As always, the Glacial Wyrm and all other Center Stage Miniatures are cast in lead-free metal.

The Glacial Wyrm is a HUGE chunk of metal, and the list price is $34.95. I've got the website at www.centerstageminis.com set up for pre-orders at a $5.00 discount, so if you want to get your hands on early savings, you can check them out.

There are also 5 vintage re-releases for January of Metal Magic knights and paladins. All five are included in the blister for $10.00. Those are in stock now.

CSM-007, Glacial Wyrm, is now in stock at www.centerstageminis.com. Weighing in at a heavy 11.3 ounces, this is the largest miniature Center Stage Miniatures has released to date.

Retail price is $42.95 - but through February 20th, there is a $5 coupon for the online store when you order one. Enter the code "WYRMPROMO" when checkout asks you for a discount or coupon code.

Here is the final miniature, assembled and painted by Patrick Keith.

I ordered one and received it in good order.  It comes in a nice blister box with adequate foam packing material to keep everything safe.  It is heavy weighing in at nice ounces!  It is also huge with a height of 3 1/4 inches!  Frankly, I was hoping it would be a little smaller, but it'll do.  It comes in five pieces, but they fit together pretty well.  It took me about an hour of flash removal and piece preparation to get it where I could glue it all like I wanted.  I had to bend one of the wings(?) slightly, for example, to get everything to line up like I wanted.  There were some gaps I didn't want in between the pieces, but I personally fill those kinds of cracks with super glue and in looks just fine.  Overall, a very nice sculpt with good details and quality.

The paint job shown here is much better than I can do, but after reading the decription in the Monster Manual, I plan on painting a while strip on its back as is described.  Once I get mine painted, I'll show it here.  8)

The main thing I would like to say is thanks to Center_Stage for creating these minis.  The Ral Partha sculpt is usually much more expensive and much more difficult to assemble, so this is a great option for mini collectors and users. :D

Oooh. Is it white metal or resin?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.
