Ummm... maybe it's me, but when I go to CSM website, and check to see what is in the 'Advanced Fantasy Miniatures - 25mm personalities range', there is nothing there. Is this where the Julie Guthrie minis re-castings come in? I just visited MegaMinis site, who used to do these, and found they were sold to CSM.

I am in as well. I support a lot of kickstarters mostly out of solidarity with other nerds trying to get a chance to produce commercially what they love. This one I went straight for the highest category because I really want to see Matt succeed way beyond the 20k he has mapped out in stretch goals. It is a bonus that I am so happy with the minis I have from him already.

So to everyone reading this be a backer, Nogrod says so!

I posted an update on my blog today:

http://theleaddragon.blogspot.com/

In summary, here's what your pledge of $75 or $100 nets you to date:

Baphomet, Demon Lord of Minotaurs (resin)
Molydeus + bonus weapons (halberd & giant flail)
Ice Devil
Horned Devil
2 Advanced Fantasy Personalities (Julie Guthrie Grenadier sculpts)
2 Bearded Devils
3 Lemures
3 Manes
Bone Devil
2 Barbed Devils
Succubus
2 Spined Devils
Erinyes
Horned Devil (variant sculpt)
Type I
Type II
Type III
Type IV
Type V

And the hits just keep on coming! If you haven't pledged, what are you waiting for? Help Matt add a truckload of cool minis to CSMs stable, and of course you get a few for yourself ;)

Tom

I am looking for this guy:  Grenadier Undead Giant Cyclops #11

Yes, I know there are listings on Ebay.  Is anyone serious about selling me one?

Or, how about this Ral Partha Skeleton Giant?:

Unfortunately, he's not for trade or sale.  One thing always bothered me about this guy though.  I always felt like he was saying, "Look at how loooong my "sword" is!"

Yes.  It's an...um...awkward choice of stances.   He seems to be threatening us with his Johnson.

"Roger the living!"

The sword on your version is different than the one in my possession.  It appears to be straight, while the one I have is curved and jagged.  (Not sure that does not sound just as wierd as the miniature looks.)

I haven't seen an example yet painted to my tastes.  This miniature has lots of cool armor to offset his silly-looking weapon.  Other painters do not seem to have seen it that way.  The coolest armor is a set of plates draped over the back of his shoulder...which I intend to paint bronze.   You can see some of the plates on the skeleton's front in your picture.  I'm going to start with a black base coat and drybrush from there.  Standing together, on the bases I have ready, a pair of these skeletons will look quite impressive when they come to kill you at PaizoCon.

My giant skeleton mini is a Frankenstein, or maybe Frankensteen, as I had to give him a random sword from some other mini.  My paint jobs are usually just serviceable, and most people should be able to make him look better than I have.  It is interesting how much detail he has on his backside.  It's a nice mini.

On another note, I only know of one adventure where there's giant skeletons and that's in the Night Below boxed set.  Anyone know another published adventure with a giant skeleton or more?   :?:

I think there's one in Q1, and I'm pretty sure in some of the earlier X modules (1-5 or so)??
