This one is driving me crazy.  I am interested in getting a copy of Midkemia's Jonril - Gateway to the Sunken Lands, but I am discovering that I am not 100% sure of what I would be buying.

I poked around online (and also on this forum), but there is little/inconsistent information about the physical contents of this supplement.  Some sources say the book is 66 pages, some say 68... I think one said 77 pages.  The part that most confuses me is what maps are included?  I read that there is an 11x17 players map and also other maps of the surrounding areas.  Some sources only mention the one map.  Yet another mentioned a large fold-out map.  Do they mean the 11x17 one?  What does it truly come with?

Since I am particular about only buying complete items, is there someone here who owns this item that can elaborate on exactly what is included with this supplement?  Maybe you can describe the map(s) and sizes, please?  Any information would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.  :D

I am fairly certain the listing on the Tome of Treasures is correct:

I am a bit of a Midkemia Press collector (I think I have a full set of all different prints now) although I could use a Jonril in better shape.

The number of pages usually varies depending on how you count the unnumbered pages.  The book contains: colour cover, blank inside cover, Jonril cover page, table of contents, 65 numbered pages (1-65).  Page 65 is an overview map and the back of it is blank, then the back cover page (blank on both sides).  The foldout map is actually a 17 X 22 map of the city.

Jonril comes with 72 printed pages, 7 of which contain printing but are not numbered, hense 65 numbered pages. There is also a loose fold out map sheet with it which is 17"x22" printed on one side only. The centre pages are numbered through (no pull out map attached) so unless the numbers jump you don't need to worry about missing pages in the middle.

If it's Bclarkie's copy you're looking at (and you win it), PM me and I'll e-mail you the fold out map.

Just so I am clear, my description and mbassoc's are the same.  The 7 unnumbered but printed pages are: cover, blank inside cover, title page, TOC, blank back of page 65, inside back cover, back cover.

Thanks a million for the info, guys.  :)  That answers my questions.

Yeah, I was actually looking at bclarkie's copy, but his is missing the map, apparently.  I appreciate the offer to send me a scan of the map, mbassoc2003.  I'm going to pass on this one, though.  I'm anal and I want to get a copy with the authentic map.  ;)  I'll just keep my eyes peeled.  Thanks again.

If anyone does have a complete copy that they are willing to part with, please don't hesitate sending me a PM.  ;)

IIRC I have a copy in my shop....

** expired/removed eBay auction **

In fact I have the full set there if anyone is looking for anything. I guess shop stock doesn't show up in your search engine?

Thanks.  I actually did see your copies on eBay, but since I am in the US, I was hoping to maybe find one with cheaper shipping.  ;)  I was also hoping to not pay so much, but I might bend if I don't find anything for some time.  I am still mad at myself for missing one a few months ago that went for a bargain.  Grrr.
