Hi,

Does anyone know whether there was a black and white insert for the 8001 Action Art Dungeoneers box that showed the various minis? If so, would you possibly have a scan of it or know of a site that does?

I found this site which has other scans of the boxes and inserts, but it didn't have the 8001 set.

Thanks,

Mike.

I made two 700K scans:

Front covers of the two booklets:

The two booklets look like a PITA to scan, so I didn't.

[Edit: Maybe I will scan the booklets later if someone really wants them.]

Thanks for the scans, John.  For some reason I missed the notification email when you posted the scans, so sorry for the delay.

I was trying to "figure" out (pun intended) which one the female fighter was (far right in the photo) ...

I remember from the Kevin Hendryx auction where it was mentioned that some of the figures in the 8001 set (or maybe all?), as well as several in the 8002 set were specifically designed by TSR staff.  I definitely remembered the Drow Captain (Hendryx's idea) from a friend's set back in the early 80's, but I didn't specifically remember the female fighter (Mary Hendryx's idea that Dave Sutherland sketched).  It's still kind of hard to tell from the insert scan, but I guess they did a different pose with it?

Mike.
