** expired/removed eBay auction **

Might be interesting BUT - stock photo, new user, and highlights high value in another auction (oh and a reserve as well!) - not too many alarm bells then?! :D

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.

Interesting. I'm keeping an eye on these two.

kalapurusha has a miniatures web-page called the DND Lead.com.  It's a pretty good web-page for minis if I say so myself.

I would think you could add on to your eBay order if you liked what he is selling.  I currently have a shipment from him on the way, so if I have any problems, I'll post info on this thread. 8)

Does anyone know who this seller is?

Dealt with her?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0405059244

Anyone know who won the bidding for that copy?

She has listed more than one copy of the DCC 35 Box Set in the last week.

She has another copy listed (Currently at $67) with over 2 days left.

Never dealt with this person but having 2 DCC 35's would not be considered unusual.  It is not like it is rare or anything.  Locally the shops in my town all had this up until a few months ago.

Here is the reason for my inquiry.
Having bid (and lost) I was made a second chance offer, for a LOT less than the one listed above sold for (It sold for $114).
Not just a little lower...
REDICULOUSLY lower...
SCARY LOW....  and yes, I went by the back door to ask if the second chance offer was for real and it was.

I dont see what the problem is.  She is obviously a reputable seller.  And what do you mean by "back door"?  I don't know what your definition of "SCARY LOW" is but if she is willing to sell you a copy at a discounted price why wouldnt you take it?  :?

First: Perhaps you did not see my recent thread about my computer having been hacked...... THROUGH E-BAY....
That made me very cautious about ANY Internet and more Especially any E-Bay offers....

Second: By Back Door I mean that I did not go throgh the second chance offer.
I had saved the previous auction in my E-Bay, so I went through that to ask her if she had sent me an offer.

Third: YES, Of course I took that offer.
Just as soon as I was able to confirm the validity of the offer.
I was worried, not stupid.

Once I get the Box Set, and if all is well, then I will post the price I paid to the Non-TSR fun finds thread...

This seller's account name is the same as the e-mail address of someone in the "disciplesofheritage" Yahoo! group.  I have seen nothing to indicate that she is not legit or not above-board.  I have seen scammers/bad dealers get called out publicly on mailing lists, but nothing related to her.

Dealt with her?

I have seen her name on various eBay auctions and Yahoo! group mailings, but I can't see any feedback indicating that I interacted with her.

If it didn't cost $800 to ship it to the US, I'd probably get it. Although, I already have all of the Heroquest games, and Zagor seems to be almost identical...

Actually, it seems more like a co-op Dark Tower, though I could see some similarity with Hero Quest as well. In fact, I seem to recall the "DM" was named Zargon, or maybe I'm misplacing that name... maybe in Dragonstrike?

Yeppers! I talked Jim into doing an updated version of Zargon (of B4 fame) slaying yet another group of adventurers! As always, he did a dynamite job!  8)
