If I were still in California, hell yeah. I love those arcade games.

I'm here in California...Chino is maybe 40 minutes away.  Should I snag this? Hmmm...not sure what the wife will say...maybe she'll want to play, too?

2 offers have been declined - I reckon it could be yours for $375.

That having been said my wife gets cross if the postamn knocks on the door to frequently, so I'd rather not imagine her reaction if I came home with an arcade game - kids would be pleased though :D  :D

I used to really liked Gauntlet, and the first Diablo was kinda the closest I've seen to it in a while. Unfortunately computers move on and I can't play that now either.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I would normally think that $450 would be a steal for this game.  But doing some cursory searches for the most common games it looks as if the market prices have dropped considerably for these games.  A year or so ago a Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, or Galaga cabinet would run you about $700 - $1000 or more.  Now they are selling for less than half that.  We saw a Donkey Kong machine at the Pinball convention this past weekend sell for $600.  I thought that was way too cheap until I saw some of the prices they are going for on Ebay.

I wish I had the money and space to put these things.  If I did I would be buying them up as fast as I could.

You said it right there ...it is about the space.  Also the quality of emulators has really gone up in the last few years, coupled with the proliferation of the ROMS online.  Unless you have a mansion with a large games room it makes no sense for the majority of retro gamers to buy these things.  It is even easier than that if you just purchase one of the many retro-compilation discs available for Playstation or XBox.

This one (Tower of Doom) is not on the Capcom Classics Collection though, I suspect because of licensing issues with the name or maybe the fact that it wasn't so popular in the day.

Cheers!

You're right about the space issue...unless I grab a chainsaw and some bungee ties, this definitely won't fit in my 2005 Saturn Ion:)

I was just kidding about snagging that thing.  Yes, it would be cool to own it (seems inexpensive compared to prices a couple years ago), but I'd rather think of it this way:

I could own a CZ:UW **AND** a DCC 35 Gazetter for about the same amount
OR
I could own five unopened packs of Dragon Dice with the original crayons!

With MAME (just like OSRIC, et al), you don't have to move on :D

These are actually fairly common for a nonTSR D&D item.  It has a few different prints (side stapled and perfect bound) and a reformatted version with a more solid colour cover.

This one seems a bit high priced at $20, they aren't usually in very high demand and sell around $8-$10.

Yeah, pretty common, but a damn fine resource. Use it in practically every game I play.

$20?!?! Holy crap, I'd sell mine for half that.

With the exception of a few of the 1st edition books, the condition of the books doesnt seem all that bad IMO.  Consider that several of the second edition books fetch a considerable amount of money at auction and the price doesnt seem all that bad....especially from someone that might be looking to fill a few holes and is desperate to do so in one fell swoop.

Dol Guldur, Palantir Quest, Southern Gondor, and the two Arnor books can easily top $50 or more.  Kin-Strife is usually a good seller as well.

That BIN may be a bit on the high side but not by much.

You are right, I think that it was not a bad deal for both seller and buyer, it seems that the seller made a very good estimation.

The most wanted 2nd edition books weren't inculded, expect Dol Guldur  (Moria, Mirkwood and Laketown) IMO.
