Curious as to how many people are watching this lot?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0330445225

It contains a copy of Inferno and also a copy of The Trap Manual by Varanae.

Probably a few more than 10 minutes ago.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

And what about the Stimulax Junior Home Massage Instrument?   8O

That thing looks frightening!

[Edit: It's a separate auction.]

That's the 1996 book, which was the first attempt to release it as a generic system and is really really bare-bones -- so much so that I'm not even certain the book is worth it from a gamer standpoint.

The d6 system was also released in a slipcased set of books (Adventure, Fantasy, and Space) and had other supplements, including a DM screen.

Here's a link to the publishing history of the d6 system:

And here's a link for the d6 books (mostly Star Wars, of course):

Those are the latter post-bankruptcy books, are they not?  I've flipped through some of them and, though they're still very bare-bones and kinda bland, they actually seem to have enough details on the different genres to be usable.

If I were still in California, hell yeah. I love those arcade games.

2 offers have been declined - I reckon it could be yours for $375.

That having been said my wife gets cross if the postamn knocks on the door to frequently, so I'd rather not imagine her reaction if I came home with an arcade game - kids would be pleased though :D  :D

I used to really liked Gauntlet, and the first Diablo was kinda the closest I've seen to it in a while. Unfortunately computers move on and I can't play that now either.

I would normally think that $450 would be a steal for this game.  But doing some cursory searches for the most common games it looks as if the market prices have dropped considerably for these games.  A year or so ago a Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, or Galaga cabinet would run you about $700 - $1000 or more.  Now they are selling for less than half that.  We saw a Donkey Kong machine at the Pinball convention this past weekend sell for $600.  I thought that was way too cheap until I saw some of the prices they are going for on Ebay.

I wish I had the money and space to put these things.  If I did I would be buying them up as fast as I could.

You said it right there ...it is about the space.  Also the quality of emulators has really gone up in the last few years, coupled with the proliferation of the ROMS online.  Unless you have a mansion with a large games room it makes no sense for the majority of retro gamers to buy these things.  It is even easier than that if you just purchase one of the many retro-compilation discs available for Playstation or XBox.

This one (Tower of Doom) is not on the Capcom Classics Collection though, I suspect because of licensing issues with the name or maybe the fact that it wasn't so popular in the day.

Cheers!

You're right about the space issue...unless I grab a chainsaw and some bungee ties, this definitely won't fit in my 2005 Saturn Ion:)

I was just kidding about snagging that thing.  Yes, it would be cool to own it (seems inexpensive compared to prices a couple years ago), but I'd rather think of it this way:

I could own a CZ:UW **AND** a DCC 35 Gazetter for about the same amount
OR
I could own five unopened packs of Dragon Dice with the original crayons!
