Pricewise, I think $20 - $25 is about right for these. There was a bubble when a couple heavy hitters battled it out. But since then, the market has been back down, I picked up 3 of those ones for $10-$15 a while back and a couple weeks ago, I grabbed 2 copies of Nystalux for $5.57 and $6.19 so they are still obtainable for cheap if you keep looking and are patient - the mantra of the collector on a budget.

Yeah...watching that was a hoot. A couple of collectors paid over $100 each for those ugly things. Would have been nice to have had a set of those to sell at the time.

I actually wasn't referring to those in particular... more just the general feeling of watching something interesting on ebay for six days and then having it "revealed" in the last few hours. Of course you never know, everyone else may have been sitting there all along, but it *feels* like you there's an edge before it shows up in this thread.

And of course there can be an upside to mentions here too, so that's just how it goes.

Struck me as odd - not a bad price just for articles cut from old White Dwarfs (Dwarves?)

(Though for what its worth - 3 of the adventures (day in the life/night in the death & To live and Die) are really well worth a read, showing just how good magazine scenarios can be)
