I could just hope nobody notices, but even I'm not that naive.

Seller has a 1st PotVQ, a 1st Dwarven Glory and a Character Archaic.

Have fun, all.

Doh!  I just posted these in the General section, except the CA which I missed.  That CA looks to be a <edit> 3rd printing with the yellow cover.

I'm curious if any of them will sell at the starting price.  The last auction with 2 Palaces and 1 Dwarven Glory, the Infernax and Necromican sold for $750.  Although different prints, I would take the 5 books over the 1.  Any one been counting how many Black Foldered Palaces there have been recently?  They almost seem more common than the other prints (or maybe they just stand out more).

I don't think the starting prices are too bad.

To me, of the 3, the CA is the most overpriced, although I am not sure if I have ever seen a 3rd print sell on Ebay.  The only 3rd printing that I know of  outside of this one up now is owned by dbartman, so it might get a bid or two even at that starting bid.  I would suspect that the PotVQ will sell at the minimum bid or perhaps a little bit higher, but not much.  The DG on the other hand is aboslutely beautiful, and considering 1st print DGs appear to be far more rare than any printings of PotVQ, I can see that easily selling $1300+.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. I can honestly say that if I had the cash to throw at them right now, I'd seriously consider trying to get both the PotVQ & the DG even though I am supposedly trying to "scale back" my collection and finally pay off my CC.

That sounds right to me.  There's been a slightly rough 1st PotVQ in an eBay store at $1100 for a couple of months now.  So I'd guess this one will go, but not for much more than the $800 starting bid.  The DG does look to be in great shape, and $1300 has been the market for those.  (The later prints just don't get the same attention.)

The Character Archaic seems to me to be overpriced on the minimum bid.  But then, I've always had a problem with spending a bunch of money on, well, character sheets.   :D

Is anyone bothered by the fact that the sellers rating is only 88.9%?

Or has anyone purchased from him (knows who he is...)?

Thanks

EDIT - Low % is because of few sales. Only one negative feedback this year. Didn't mean to stir things up.   :o

It doesn't bother me too much since these items are out of my price range already.

potvq looks bit rough best was still $1400 + other at $1100 also issues. tfm has bid up + won every dg even duplicate recent so guess will be him again if needs more to send to noble knight or protect investment. late ca needed at least three people with that money should go well. auction with five @ $750.03 still was better value even if also not minty. good luck :) :)

This seller has a bit of an odd lot, with a couple of Bushido books, something called "Excursion into the Bizarre" . . . and a Booty and the Beasts.
