I can't Google up any reference to the supplements, so I don't know what the heck those are.

Quote from the seller:

They will ship together in a USPS flat-rate Priority Mail box.
If you want a tracking number, YOU MUST ASK FOR ONE AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.

I understand the perils of selling on Ebay and I am sympathetic...but this is another seller who has missed the memo.  It is the seller who needs to track an item to prove delivery, not the buyer.  Without it, the seller is completely vulnerable to a PayPal dispute.

To some buyers that is like a sign saying "get this for free".

I get the feeling that the other books are not actually related to the RPG book but just coincidentally have the same name "RUS" - probably historical RUS books.  RUS in the RPG book has the two dots above the U and it is the same in the other supplements I have seen.  The extra bits in this auction don't have them.  I placed a curiosity bid :)

*shrug*

If you win it, please let me know what the heck they are, so I can close that open thought in the back of brain.

I know it's on my list, which means it has to come up at a point when I've decided not to do any buying for a while. :D

(And, like Mars, I'm curious as to whether those other books are really for the game or not.)

Looks likely to be the same game, and looks to be being sold by a games store if the photo backgound is anything to go by.

But since the seller lives in Dallas, Badmike can just go over with some of his D&D buddies and make sure the transaction goes smoothly.

Last one went for $1625. Let's see how this one does. Often wonder how many watchers something like this gets.

I really wish the Acaeum would get rid of some of the subjective quotes that people then copy into their auctions: "and possibly less than 20 still remain."

These seem to show up about 2 or 3 copies every year.  Documented here and on the Tome are sales for about 10 copies sold in the last few years -which probably means there were another 5-10 sold that were not recorded.  This also doesn't include the copies that people have in their collections from before the recent sales, GenCon sales - I seem to recall Blackmoor picked one up in the GenCon auction a couple years ago, and Crazy Egor sold one from his booth, etc.

I think a more realistic number would be 40-50 copies still remain in existence.

For anybody who remembers the Dark Tower game, this is the most complete one I've seen on Ebay in a while.  The tower doesn't work apparently, but all the pieces are there and in good shape.  I can only imagine what this will end up going for:

Yeah, he lowered his price after seeing what the shrinked one went for.

So now I'll have the shrinked one and can sell my extra to John for an even more reasonable price than that.  Everybody wins.  Well, everybody here anyway.

Yeah, and the listing says this:

The object of the game itself is to amass an army, collect three keys to the Tower and defeat the evil within. It can be played with 1 to 4 players. This is the ultimate role playing board game [which I think is better than dungeons & dragons!]

8O  HERESY!
