Never knew there was a Hill Giant Encounter group.

I don't understand.  What's wierd or silly about this listing?  :?

For some folks (with vivid imaginations... ) the giants seem to be holding what may appear to be something other than a big club.

(IE. In a Fuzzier Photo, Some might mistake the club for a monstrous woodie).

A monstrous woodie?  Which printing was that?

My take was that the wording "hill giant encounter group" implies that hill giants go through 12-step programs for being hill giants. But, others seem to have had flashbacks to their teenage years.  :D

I picked up the Dark Heresy rulebook cheap off of ebay but haven't had time to read it (otherwise these would be extremely interesting). Maybe the prices are falling. FFG has a tendency to dump some of their product lines.

Isn't this considered the rarest JG Tunnels & Trolls book?

Could be, course I had to read that sentence twice before understanding of the Tunnels & Trolls books.

Does not seem rare to me.

$9.70 for shipping!

$7.40 if you just use regular first class mail.

Would not bid just for that reason.

(It's an interesting book, but I can't help but wonder whether anybody's ever actually gamed with it. :D)

There's a copy of GURPs The Prisoner at the central Austin HBP for $30.

I looked through it & saw there's about a page devoted to the question of who is "Number 1." They didn't hit on the obvious, the that the Edward VIII-based main character is Number 1. In other words the kind of smarmy "believe in yourself" ubiquitous to television.

Thanks.  I believe in 'myself' and shrinkwrap, of course! :)
