Not on ebay, but I just noticed that Noble Knight has listed all five of the early foldered Role Aids by Mayfair.

Anyone want to pay $175-$350 each?   8O

"Appears to be complete. Too many pieces to check." No thanks. Good price, but no thanks.

I admit that is a bit daunting, but it did say it had all the miniatures. If it were Warhammer Quest I would have snapped it up in a second. Luckily it has sold already.

I could use a few of them as well and the variant covers but the price is a bit high for me too - besides the hunt is half the fun ;)

That is the Gencon signed version where apparently only 20 were released.

Should be interesting to see what it goes for.

I am tempted to bid on this as it is located close to me (must be heavy). Does anyone know about a piece like this this? Or is it just a gaudy piece of pewter kitsch?

I once had a small fountain that was made from some cheap, heavy plastic.  It was one of those small, on-your-desk, water-recycling things with a pump.  After a few months of use, the paint started to peel off.  :(

I would ask the seller if it is metal, plastic, or what.  I would also ask the seller what size it is; it looks like a large Halloween prop, but I can't tell if it is 3 inches or 3 feet tall.

There's a game in this lot called "Swords & Sorcery" by SPI which I wasn't aware of before I did a little google search. Not sure how worthwhile it is, but I noticed there's a card in there called "Gygax Dragonlord".

There's also a Knights of Camelot, but the box looks a bit beat.

Yes. You're right. Hard plastic and the size of a basketball. Might be a nice addition to a large dungeon-style games room - but would be an eyesore in my house methinks. I shall let it pass!
