*nods*. Not that any #1s are particularly common, even if it's not the most awkward issue to obtain in open auction.
Was more than happy to snag /any/ copy, regardless of fishiness or drained color, and possibly the best approach to adopt IMO given that it's not possible to be sure which will sell for less.

Hadn't really been following much since, nor do I know of a listing - or attempted listing - of those prints above-and-beyond what it says on the http://www.yog-sothoth.com/cocdbdetail. ... ter_ID=207 link you mention.

Seller also has Booty and the Beasts and The Necromecan up, the latter still pretty cheap.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

A very good Palladium Book.

99 cents

I wrote a short opinion/review of it some time ago here.

Well worth the money just for reading the data inside, most of which can easily be used for Fantasy Gaming campaigns in any setting.

I picked up a pair of test printing TUO #1s from Pagan directly at GenCon 2007 for pretty cheap IIRC ($40 each?).

edit:  on the Pagan site @ http://www.tccorp.com/site09/tccorp_pro ... PIorderBy= they list the test print, and the standard salmon print @ http://www.tccorp.com/site09/tccorp_pro ... PIorderBy=

They don't have any print run details on those issues, though, unlike several of the other earlier products.  Per the Y-S.com info @ http://www.yog-sothoth.com/cocdbdetail.php?ID=207 it sounds like the max print run for the test printings would be 200, though 100-150 seems likely, with the three printings of the salmon editions seeming to number from ~600-900 or so.

I'll have to dig up my Annotated TUO copies to see if there's any further print run details in there, though I don't remember there being much info like that (the intros and annotations were more about the content as I recall).

Price + Shipping are too high.

Should be around $20 total.

I saw that, too. And note the clever wording by the seller; he gets around that fact and technically doesn't lie about it. But it's dripping with slime.

That and the 98-percent feedback rating ... El Paso.

+++++

Late edit: Those details at the bottom? Ripped right off the BoardgameGeek page, word for word. Even the formatting is the same.

Caveat emptor on this one, Acaeum buddies ...

Lying by omition is still lying. The seller is deliberately being deceitful and lying about the condition and completeness of what he's selling. Given that he can't be bothered to tell the truth about what he's selling and what is missing, how can you tell, as he provides no photos, what else is truthful and what are lies?

If someone gets screwed by this guy, and they don't see it coming, maybe they deserve it. Some people have more money than sense.

A shame, too. I am looking for all of the expansions and the 2nd edition base game. Even so, at $399, that's $57 each. WAAAAY too much.

Yes, I agree that is a bit high for even all of that IMO...

I just sold a 2nd Edition Base Game Box Set.
It sold for $35 plus exact shipping costs.
Almost complete.
It was missing 3 tiny counters (the numbered ones).
But I thought I got a good price for it.
I think both parties were happy with it.
At least I got a possitive Feedback from the buyer.

From what I have seen the past 3 months that was a little higher than typical for a not quite complete base box set though.

Low feedback seller may keep the bidding low...
