Yes. I have seen them sell for anything from $50 to over $100 depending on condition. It is one of the more highly sought after AH bookshelf games.

This is on RPG Martketplace.

I have no idea if this is a good price or not. Unspeakable Oafs seem to go for an extravagant amount of money to my non-cthulhu collecting eyes.

If you are really, really patient you can find them on eBay or Abe Books or Powell's somewhat cheaper, but the copy that Axel has listed looks like it is in pretty nice shape.
It is one of the "gaps" in my collection but I cannot afford it right now.  :(

Had thought the regular #1s were still trending downwards to around $70-75 but a few recently have been high to $125-ish (IIRC) whilst others remained low; e.g.

. Having a few sellers with high BINs from time-to-time really doesn't help...

Good luck on that; and if you're hunting down the test printings, too.

There was a small stash of test printing copies up for sale piecemeal 18 months or so back but the seller set a lower limit around the $90-100(?) mark and I ended up with one elsewhere for a bit less (erm, sorry Steven). They might've pulled their remaining copies until the market improves but don't quote me on that, Brette. ;)
Hadn't really been following much since, nor do I know of a listing - or attempted listing - of those prints above-and-beyond what it says on the http://www.yog-sothoth.com/cocdbdetail. ... ter_ID=207 link you mention.

I believe that the test printings that you are referring to had a grey cover rather than the "salmon" that you usually see listed.

*nods*. Not that any #1s are particularly common, even if it's not the most awkward issue to obtain in open auction.
Was more than happy to snag /any/ copy, regardless of fishiness or drained color, and possibly the best approach to adopt IMO given that it's not possible to be sure which will sell for less.

Seller also has Booty and the Beasts and The Necromecan up, the latter still pretty cheap.

A very good Palladium Book.

99 cents

I wrote a short opinion/review of it some time ago here.

Well worth the money just for reading the data inside, most of which can easily be used for Fantasy Gaming campaigns in any setting.
