During the recent sale those exact same books could be purchased for $10 each. 8)

I was going to say that too :)  I picked up a set through the sale - chances are they will be $10 at the Christmas sale too.

Seems to be MERP week for me. Here are some old looking MERP miniatures still in the blisters. Don't know much about, but may be of interest to our resident miniature junkies:

I know several folks were looking for copies of Cairn of the Skeleton King and Tower of Blood, and Rob just announced that a CotSK reprint is available (60 copies) and that ToB will follow soon.

In addition, he's selling some books from his personal collection, including 10 author copies of Bottle City @ http://site.pied-piper-publishing.com/j ... &Itemid=48

Way over priced on most of those items.
I also owned and sold Author's copy #5, so Author's copies A-J seems a bit spurious. Just made as a money making exercise perhaps?

No news of any PDF releases yet?
At least those would be real products, and I'm sure a lot of folks would be willing to buy those. Everyone who wants the original module but can't find one, and anyone who wants a reading copy because they are a collector and don't want to be reading their originals.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Not sure either.  Its meant to be used with the Global Games Inferno game so its not really a generic product.

I have one.  Paid entirely too much for it before I knew what it was.  Picked up a second one at Gen Con for $4.  Traded the other one for something else so it all worked out in the end.

Kind of interesting in a demonic sort of way.  I think it is worth the $8 asking price, but definitely not worth the additional shipping and hassle that would likely follow.

They are pretty crap.
You'd be better saviing your money and buying JG or Necromancer.
They really aren't worth the shipping, even if they were gonna give you them of free.

I wasn't paying to much attention to it this morning so all I caught was the Invincible Overlord reference and assumed that it was a JG lot.  I saw a copy of Wilderlands (?) at the game store Saturday for 69.99 and was tempted but couldn't make myself pick it up.  Not to derail the thread but is it actually worth the sticker price?
