Anyone in the UK want to help a poor American get a great collectible? I can't promise I'll win, but if someone would be kind enough to bid for me to my max?

Item

Please PM if you'd be willing to help.

Thanks.

[Edit]

Someone has offered to assist me in this. Now, to hope I win, seeing as there isn't much time left in the auction...

Likewise I'll help any Acaeum members in bidding on UK items.

(I owe my copy of the dragon magazine archive to  US member of the Kenzer&Co forums.)

Woohoo! I won the auction thanks to help from the fine folks here. Plus, it was cheaper than I had expected, at about half of what I've seen it go for at other times (or seen offered on certain websites for immediate purchase.)

YES! :)

Thanks all. I shall not forget.

A little disappointed I have not yet received this. Been about 3 weeks, so I guess its just stuck in customs. Not angry or concerned, but getting very anxious to see it... damn mail.

Ack, knew we should have paid the extra for tracking - at least we'd know where it was!

I guess that 3 weeks isn't cause for concern - yet. If it is held up at customs, how long is it likely to be in limbo? (When should I start to worry?!)

I dunno, to be honest. Everything else I've ever gotten from the UK has arrived in about 2 weeks, so its already "late" for my experience. I have heard that it can take a long time to arrive, but I also thought Royal Air Mail was the only option, and that stuff is quick...

I mean, it only has to come across a pond and then a few hundred miles. Not hard. Al could run it in a week. :)

Whew! This arrived in the mail today, perfectly protected and in excellent collectible shape. I was going to get really worried if it didn't arrive this week, so, I am ecstatic to have it now... lesson learned. :)

Lucky bastard.  That's on my list of RPGs that I'd like but probably am never going to own. :)

Thank **** for that - I'm just back off my hols and was hoping to see this message!

Glad it got to you in the state it left me (if a little later than we both expected - just happy it's home!)

That is a very cool item indeed. When did the last one come up for sale in the USA?

Here's one.  Continental US only (otherwise I might be tempted, although prob out of my reach). Good luck! :D
