So, anybody care to answer a question for me:

Is Car Wars undergoing a revival of any sort?  I ask, because a couple of items of mine related to it just sold for a bit to quite a bit more than I expected (or paid for them) and I'm just trying to figure out why... :?

Car Wars is one of those games that cycles pretty regularly.  Sometimes stuff will sell cheap other times it goes for a bit.  I think there are probably a good number of Car Wars collectors out there.

Classic Car Wars stuff in decent condition will always be popular, especially if the counters are still uncut. Car Wars was one of those systems that actually got played quite a bit, so finding minty counter sheets is easier said than done.

I recently liquidated my Car Wars collection on eBay, and I got a *lot* more than I thought I would for it. I listed items individually, and a lot was uncut and at least excellent condition. I was hoping for about $300, and I ended up getting over $700 after all the fees. I was very happy.

There were lots of interested buyers from all over the world. (Well, the English-speaking world, anyway.) I shipped to folks in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Lots of buyers from Australia, actually.
