Now and then I'll read where someone is very pleased with a product. Unfortunately, there are times when the only place you can find the company mentioned is on page 35 of a thread.

Maybe its too much to have a sticky thread for each company, but at least we could have a normal thread.

Cheers!

James Mishler, too, through his AGP is doing good things.

I suspect that Paizo Publishing is the top dog in new stuff.

I am really impressed with their Pathfinder series.  The Skinsaw Murders is just really a great adventure....with elements of true horror.  It is extremely well designed.

Writers like Wolfgang Bauer are a great endorsement for this company.

I am planning to look hard at their upcoming Pathfinder RPG....a way to keep 3.5 alive and in print.

I downloaded the Pathfinder Preview Beta whatever-its-called and the material at least looks good.  My limited first glance noticed the spell section appeared short but graphics were first-rate, and everything looked organized.  They also feature elves as larger than humans.8O   I'm not interested in actually using the material for anything but ideas.

Keeping an open mind about Mongoose's new Traveller.  I've greatly enjoyed everything Green Ronin has done for Mutants & Masterminds.  Looking forward to seeing the rest of Castle Zagyg.

I'm looking to pick up Baur's contribution as soon as I can find it cheap somewhere. I love his stuff, whatever edition, and it looks good (something about Stone Giants).

Necromancer games does good work.   They've been doing a bangup job on re-releasing some old Judge's Guild products.  The Wilderlands boxed set is fantastic and they did a very nice job with City State of the Invincible Overlord.  I just purchased City of Brass and, while I'm just getting started with it it looks very good.

A group of us have started a fanzine specifically dedicated to old-old-school fantasy games. The first issue is up at lulu.

I think there are a lot of people on this site who's contributions we'd welcome, so please send them along to [email protected] or [email protected] if you've got anything in an old notebook that needs dusting off to see the light of day!

One of those authors, Jeff Rients, was the DM for the Judges Guild memorial game.  So now I'm tempted to get this.

Thanks guys! Jeff's contributions are great. The first issue was a blast and the second is shaping up to be longer and possibly even cooler - there are some really excellent people coming in to join the crew for the second issue. (Maybe including some of you!)

Otherworld, that's high praise coming from you, I hope the mag meets your expectations. As far as advertising, I think we would in principle be open to advertisements from people selling products that cater to our readers' core interests - which I know includes yours! So let's chat via PM/email ([email protected]) about details and I'll start researching some guidelines, rates, etc.
