Hi All,

given that we are currently clearing out a lot of the "stuff" we have accumulated over the years, me and the missus have started finding a lot of old minis we bought a good while ago.

We know nothing about them at all.

But there are probably at least 3000 figures, in various states of painted, broken, still in blister, single figures, large dioramas etc etc.

I intend to keep all the ad&d related ones, but that still leaves an awful lot of them.

Most of them date from 1982 - 1990, which was our peak figure-buying time, but I know some of them are very early (circa 1977). I am guessing that they are mainly Citadel, with a fair amount of Grenadier and Ral Partha, plus a smattering of independent producers.

I have looked at SOLE, but are there any other mini sites to help identify them please? And is there a rough price guide anywhere, to decide if its worth stripping the painted ones or not?

Or is stripping the paint a bad idea?

I have no idea....

Any help/advice appreciated.

Cheers,
Malc

I have been working on my Ral Partha collection and looking for similar info.   As Ral Partha minis go, check www.ironwindmetals.com to download a catalog from 1984.

I have never found a price guide for any minis and not for lack of trying.   Good luck!!

Let's git to killin'!!
