I also notice that CZ:UW seem to have disappeared from the market relatively quickly.

Naturally. It was only available 4 months. And, had a very short print run. That means there aren't a whole lot of them out there.

That also means the product that went into the retail chain is either sold out, or being sat on, and the price is about to rise above retail. Demand will pick up later in the year as people who missed the release realise they lost out on EGG's final Magnum Opus (all be it an incomplete one).

So, are there any copies of the CZ Bible available for private sale? I am sure an opportunist TLG employee could find a very lucrative anonymous transaction here on Acaeum. We must all cash in on the resorces we have in the current climate.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

When's the last time anyone saw a Gazetteer of the Known Realms or Castle Whiterock in an ebay auction (not in the exorbitant BIN sales)?

Noble Knight has been selling DCC bundles and Castle Whiterock in open auctions on Ebay for the last couple of weeks:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

** expired/removed eBay auction **

and another is currently up:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

The two completed auctions might suggest that as with the Zayene bundles, NK offers second offers for bids in the $28 range.  I just put such a bid on the open auction so I will see if I get a second chance offer.

Thanks, Mark.  My suspicion was that CW isn't (currently) held as much of a collectible; maybe these incredibly low sales prices support that.  Gaz, on the other hand, may be harder to find/more collectible.

By the looks of it, there are lots of copies of CW out there.  They were also still part of the final Goodman Games blowout of all 47 DCC and JG products for $150.

I suspect CW will be more akin to TSR's classic supermodules in the future collectables market. There are a ton of them, and they'll pop up every month or so in varying conition and hold a fairly steady price. But it'll be a long time before a SW CW demands a premium as a collectable.

The Gazetteer on the other hand was neither anticipated nor bought with as much gusto, and I doubt there were as many printed. A SW KR may well fetch greater than RRP at the moment, and is set to be fairly well sought after in the future.

Unfortunately I have been unable to get ahold of stocks of those, as they didn't feed into the UK distribution chain during the big GG sell off. So UK stock has remained particularily low. Wouldn't have minded a half dozen Known Realms if I could have got them.

was curious on feedback from the experts on prices for DCC#0 Legends are born, not made....I had been looking for a copy for a while, and got one on Ebay for $19....I dont really care about the price, because I really wanted to get it for my collection, just curious whether this one and the other 1E DCCs are all in the same price range ?

There are two versions of #0 with different colour covers.  One was the one sold at a tournament (DunDraCon?) the other was their mass market release.  I would guess $19 is probably low for the tournament release but high for the mass produced version.

Most of these with the exception of the special ones are probably in the $5 range.  Before New Years, Goodman Games was offering up 47 or 48 of them including the Castle Whiterock boxed set for $150.

The tournament version goes typically for around $60.  Can we see a scan of the cover of the one you bought, Jorge?  There's some color variation between the two.

Also a difference in the Goodman Games logo.

Right.  The tourney version has the old triceratops version with the cowboy.

thanks for the info....I had no idea there were two versions of this module...based on your descriptions this one is not the tourney version.

either way, I am happy to get a missing piece for my collection, also was able to get other DCCs from same seller for $2-6 range.

Woah!   8O   That seller sold those modules for cheap!  I'm not selling my DCC's anytime soon.

I wrote to him and asked, he said the #4 was a second print (page 27 or 30, I can't remember which), but was unsure of the #3.  Shame I missed the auctions

Best,
