guess #2: The site's background pattern contains an encrypted jpeg photo of Jim shaking hands with OJ Simpson.

guess #3: Jim doesn't exist in any single place, but is rather a universal life force which surrounds us all. In Jim we are all one.

guess #4: There is no Jim. Jim is nothing but a hoax perpetrated upon a society to jaded or unwilling to care.

guess #5: The hot chick in the vampire costume is Jim after a very special surgical procedure. He now prefers to be known as 'Jenny.'

All very good guesses! Not! (just kidding!)

Yes, he is really, really, in one of the pictures - not hidden or encrypted or anything like that.

Keep trying, y'all!!

If I was to apply some sort of psychological approach to this "puzzle" most individuals who refuse to let people take photos of them have a poor self image of themselves (usually due to a dislike of their own features such as teeth, hair, nose, etc.).

Applying that theory, if such a person included themselves in one of their own pieces of art, they would place themselves in the background and perhaps emphasize a monstrous appearance.

Therefore...my final guess will be in the "New Stuff" section, 3rd picture down. The giant figure in the background with the raised foot...

Although not in the right section, there's a word in the last paragraph that that you wrote that is the same as the section (Paranoia) in which he can be found (a clue      )
