Anyone here admire (or at least like) the Lejentia publications?

I believe I have everything but a couple of the comic books...and those can be had.

I like what I see...but did anyone else like them?

I think they are above average in the scheme of things.  Definitely lots of material, thick books and they go for cheap cheap cheap.

I think there are 6 Lejentia items: Skully's Harbor, Fort Bevis, and Stanza Pack 1 and 3 comic books.

Just reading back over this strand....

There is an additional Lejentia item you have not mentioned......

It is a set of special dice used in Lejentia (by Lejentia?) for divination.

I have a set.

What do they look like?  I'm not really a dice collector but I usually don't associate any dice products with Task Force Games.

They are five white D6's....with Lejentian runes on them in red, green, blue, orange and black.

Included with the set is a two-sided sheet of paper that obviously came with them in their original blister pack.  The sheet gives color text about the rune dice and how to use them to derive rather arcane and suitably obscure answers to divination questions.

The Runedice of Lejentia were created by the Airelite Elves who are blessed with great luck and the ability to "feel" the future.

The original selling price from Flying Buffalo Inc. was $5.95.  Product #213.

I didn't think they were Lejentia related.

Yes.  Those are the same dice.

I don't have a book like that...only a sheet of paper.  Possibly, the sheet is the actual contents of the book.

Yes, the text relates these dice directly to Lejentia.

Interesting.  I thought that the Lejentia was only published by Task Force Games but now that I have I taken out a couple of my items to look at again, I see my Stanza pack has  Flying Buffalo sticker on top of the TFG info.

I think from day one it was a joint project probably to get some brand recognition for the Catalyst Series and then TFG sold it off completely to FB maybe?

I believe the Lejentia comics are also Flying Buffalo so they might have been released after the RPG books.  In going through my stuff, I have one more Lejentia item - a bumper sticker about 8.5 inches long that says "Aelves: They're not just for breakfast any more."

Flying Buffalo sells these packs at GenCon every year, don't think its new, just some old stock. Don't know of any dice though, just the books and comics.

As far as I can tell, Flying Buffalo and Task Force Games were one and the same.
