So, my yummy just happens to walk up and hand me this little book, white cardboard side up, little flap of tape down, and says "here you go baby, for being so nice and putting the dishes away." I'm like, "oooh, what's this?" And I flip 'er over and there is a nice very fine copy of All the Worlds' Monsters Volume II (2nd print) with the only problem being some schmoe wrote his name and number on the cover, in red ink (damnit, why do people do that? Why?) But, yeah, for me, pretty awesome, since I've been trying to rebuild the collection and I needed it... damn. Having a yummy that's into collecting/gaming is just too freaking awesome. Love rules.

[And this from someone who thought he'd never have anyone to care for, or who could possibly care for him back...]

Anyone else just get presents from nowhere? Its neat because I'm not allowed to buy stuff, but she is. :) I guess she's got my list and is checking it off... this could prove to be very interesting come my birthday, Yule, and Christmas.

People write their names on the cover in red ink because they are not collectors and they want to keep others from "accidentally" collecting up their property.

Heh, you very well might, bclarkie. :) I always tell her to watch whatever you (along with some others) put up. Just wish we had the monies needed to get all the stuff wanted. :)

Well, I gleefully marked up the only unique or near unique product I own.   Guess I'm not a real collector.
