Just a general question, what are the differences between the 1st and 2nd edition boxed sets, other than the cosmetic artwork differences to the box and rules?  I have both, and have never played the first print, so just curious.

I have both as well but my 2nd print is still in shrink so I can't answer your question.  If anyone has an open 2nd, I'd be willing to compare components.

I suspect that there is very little or no difference though.

How do you tell the printings apart?  I have a few copies, but haven't examined them in detail to determine printing info yet

The font that spells out Knights of Camelot is significantly different and I think the wizard logo might be a different colour.  I have one of the boxed away so I am just going by memory but the differences are obvious if you have the two together.

One of the ones I have says "2nd edition" in the front of the rules booklet..there are quite a few differences in both the boxed sets I have...

I just put the 2nd edition box set up on the Wiki:

http://wiki.acaeum.com/wiki/Knights_of_Camelot

Maybe you can compare from the components I have scanned. It would be great if someone could put in the first edition and complete the page.

Nice job. I've never seen the contents of that game.

That looks like Willingham artwork on the cover of the rules. Any other artwork in the interior?

The credits for the interior art list: Jeff Dee, David LaForce, David C. Sutherland III and Eymoth

But you are right, the images on the cover of the rulebook are signed 'Wilingham' at the bottom. His name does not appear anywhere in the credits. Interesting.

Just had a leaf through the rule book and there are three Jeff Dee sketches, another Wilingham sketch and 2 that are unsigned.
