I didn't scan them, but just used my digital camera, which isn't the best, and with flash on, it made them all white... so, the images are a bit blurry. I'll get some better ones if requested.

I don't think these are Arduin cards (but there are some similarities that I'll discuss below), because they are not uniformly sized. They average about 4" x 11/2 " and have descriptions on the back, in terms that are generic AD&D-esque.

Some things that make me think they might be related to Arduin are the use (though its not consistent) is the spelling of magic as Magik or Magick and the word artifact spelled as "Artefact." There is no reference to "gold piece" but there is a phrase "G.S." which I believe means "Gold Sovereigns." Also, some are "magik artefacts" and others are "techno artefacts."

No year of making exists, not does any reference to the artist(s). I have no idea where these came from, other than I got them about 12 years ago as a present from my brother, and so, if they were part fo something... I am clueless.

Anyway, if you can help, I'd appreciate it.

Now, the pictures, via link (to not be a bandwidth hog):

I'm pretty sure they are arduin cards...I'll dig my modules out if I can and see if they are (unless someone beats me to it).  Several look VERY familiar...

They're not the FAE cards that Erol Otus did, nor are they the Mercury Games cards either.  The only other option that comes to mind outside of Arduin is the DunDraCon cards, but I haven't seen them, only heard of them (perhaps Ian can chime in?).

At least some are Arduin cards...I have two matches (the unicorn axe and the 'dragon's throat' horn) in the first few picks off my deck.

Well, they're looking more and more like Arduin, since they're definitely not DunDraCon cards either (my copy of which arrived while I was at Lake Geneva this weekend).

I just checked through my Arduin cards and found 8 matches so that's a good bet.  I got mine when a bought a lot of Arduin 1, 2, and 3.  Were these cards sold separately or are they from the Arduin Dungeons?

So it is safe to assume these are not "special?" ;) That's ok. I was mostly interested in knowing what they were, and where they came from. They didn't match any of the Arduin cards I'd seen, but if that's what they are (at least half of them are, it seems), then so be it.
