I was in a used bookstore the other day and saw the big red box that is Dungeon Crawl Classics #35: The Known World Gazetteer.

I thought, "Pay by debit card, and take the heat later for dropping $40."  I opened the box, and it looked emptier than I expected for a $70 cover price.  I checked the back contents, and they all matched . . . except that one of the modules was missing.

Disappointed, I didn't waste, errr, spend my money on it.

Did someone merely hide the missing module why he went to an ATM for cash?  Did a disgruntled player or DM steal the module from someone's apartment or retail store?  Did someone lose the module?  Or will the module show up on eBay as a rarity much like the module from TSR's Silver Anniversary set?

This has been discussed between KingofPain and I...

Both modules (35A Halls of the Minotaur and 35B The Thief Lord's Tomb)are stand alones, look exactly like the "regular" DCC offerings (except no prices), and cannot normally be found without buying the boxed set.  Realistically, if someone didn't want the box set, I could see them paying up to $15-20 each for the modules separately (since the box set is a big $70). But "unrealistically", we all know how crazy collectors get. Look at the prices paid for L3 separately.  I wouldn't be shocked to see one or the other auctioned separately on ebay in the near future and bring in an idiotic price!
