But did any Freeport product have perforated sheets in the back?

No - There were no perforated pages with the Freeport publications.

What you are describing sounds like the original City of Haven, for Thieves Guild.

The first printing of Haven was loose leaf, three-hole punched, but the timeline is wrong for a D20 product.

Or an even cheaper one if you're in the UK . . .

I got a copy of Dungeon Crawl Classics #36 Talons of the Horned King in the mail today.

To my suprise, the module I got is not the 3.5 version.  It is a "Special 1E Rules Edition."

Is anyone else here familiar with this version of the module?  Ideas on value?

I got one when it came out at Gen Con 2009.  Pretty sure Prufrock picked it up for me.  I think that was the last year Goodman did a 1st Edition remake of one of their previous DCC modules.  I dont have a clue how many they printed but I dont see it being worth close to the amount Noble Knight want for their copy:

The DCC #36 1E Version is hard to find since it was only released at GenCon.  I would not let it go for less than $50.

Also thanks again to some very kind Acaeum members, Bracton and Prufrock, for helping me acquire it for the original price ( < $20).  :)

By the way, I will give you $25 for it. ;)

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

The seller was a large, major name online vendor.

I remember being bummed when I could not get someone from the Acaeum to buy me a copy.  Now I have it by accident.

It's stupidly rare, but has fallen under the radar. You really picked a cherry there, Mark!

Sometimes, in the module condition/printing/edition switcheroo game, you catch a break.

I had Jon Hershberger pick me up a copy at Gencon that year, so I lucked out. Thanks again, Jon!
