Can someone explain why this is worth a boatload of money again...?

IIRC it was the high production values and low print runs.

There always seems to be a lot of Iron Kingdom stuff at Half Price Books these days.

#1 and #13 of Pathfinder have alternate covers.  Not sure the print run and I don't think Paizo has ever released a print run # for any of their print products.

I don't know about rarity for the first six Pathfinder series modules.

There were alternate covers for several of the first series.

Correct, you can still pick up the alternate #13 from Piazo..
This is overpriced, last one of these went for around $80 at auction..
It was also available online from the Piazo shop.. until it sold out..

Just got this lot in the mail today:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... MEWNX%3AIT

I bought it for CSIO and Thracia, but I'll have to give the other stuff a look-see as well. CSIO is in great shape (the map is still in the back) and so is Thracia. I just noticed a spelling error in the listing - the "Carvens" of Thracia. Oops!

Very nice pickup for $48! :)

Two copies arrived in the mail today.

I was expecting damage to their corners or something similar that often happens to hardbacks in shipping.

No.

It took me a moment to find the flaw.  A printer wheel or something similar left a small line that mars the gloss shine on the front cover.  You have to turn the book in the light to find it.

I have purchased "new" copies of books...and I have seen dozens of books in stores...that were not nearly as nice as these supposed factory seconds.

Now I'm sorry I only bought two.

Thanks for the heads up, Mark. I went in for five copies, even with shipping they came out to $9 each, thats a good bargain for these.

Pathfinder #1 & #13 with alternate covers...

Blackmoor wrote:

Interesting, I have picked the #13 from Paizo,... I have paid around $80 for the other one, one year ago. It is probably me.

About Pathfinder, I have found a limited edition of the Rulebook, it seems that it was given to the shop owners. There is a 'golden' mention -limited edition- above the title. Unfortunately, the seller didn't pack it well.

Do you have some informations about that ?
