I agree.  I will wait on a large lot on ebay or a far better sale.

Interesting that they don't have the later modules.  I wonder how collectible the later ones are going to be.  They were released late and if I recall, had some distribution issues.  Their release seemed to coincided with the announcement of 4e so sales were probably slow.  I'm sure Troll and Toad bought a large inventory of them (50+ copies of each? 100+?) at a cheap price and they are now out of some of them.

I noticed that Noble Knight is selling a VG Temple of the Frog for $40, T&T is out of stock and no recent sales on Ebay.  Should check and see if distributors are out.

There may be a perception that the later modules had more value?

The Blackmoor publications have not been a real study of mine.

Whenever I look at them I get the same feeling I have when I handle the Mayfair Games version of City State of the Invincible Overlord.  Creepy.

I want to collect these items, but not at prestige prices.  Until they come down to what they are worth, $5 or less, they will not be joining my library.  A Paizo.com $2 sale would seem most appropriate for Zeitgeist products.

Searching around a bit, it looks like two factors are driving the price of Zeitgeist modules City of the Gods and Temple of the Frog.

1)  Name confusion between the Zeitgeist modules and the older TSR modules.

2)  Amazon prices giving sellers delusions of grandeur.

Sometimes NKG's prices do that too.

3) They really are good modules.

No seriously when I read the new City of Gods I was very impressed.  Don't even look at the Dungeon of Blackmoor if you can help it.  Redwood Scar was a long time ago and it didn't seem to resonate like CotG and TotF did from reading them.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Here's a 17 book D20 lot with a $30 Buy-It-Now price.

A good set of books for someone who is getting into D20 collecting.

Shipping is $12, for a total of $42.  Still, right at $2.50 per book is a pretty good lot price for an Acaeum member to snag.

There are several in the lot that I don't have.

This is an interesting one.  It is an Arthurian campaign book that mostly succeeds.

Legends of Excalibur is a sourcebook I go back to a lot in my own campaign.  This is a D20 item that did not get a lot of attention back in the day.  RPG Objects was not one of the most successful publishers, but I like this book.

Rappan Athuk Reloaded heading for the high ground....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :MEBIDX:IT

Ony an extra $43 and it'll be an all time high (or at least as far back as I remember). Still a fantastic price on this product. You don't see many of these being sold in 'used' condition. Is it the case that those who DM it can't part with it after the campaign? Wonder if there are any long term campaign worlds with RAR at the centrepiece.

Incidentally, do you think o***n is a new eBay account for o***n the Powerseller, and he logged in with the wrong ID?

Rappan Athuk III going dirt cheap in EX condition for US only buyers. Deffinately worth buying for a collection or to turn a profit.

I would be wary in this case.  The seller is a Half Price Books here in Dallas.  The condition is most likely less than stellar.

No, because the newbie bidder with the current highest bid placed their's first.

I think this is a great product, but $207 with an hour left is just shy of ridiculous.
