YAWN!
meh....
I failed to notice anything there that I thought was a great deal.
A few splat books for $1.99... (yes, some at .99 even)
Most of the $1.99 sale items are splat books that I had never even heard of last week, or off brand D20, or other RPGs that I do not collect.
And most of the other items are easily found on E-Bay every day in the same range of prices... and some for less.

But is a T&T Sale, really a sale?
Yeah, for T&T it is a huge sale.
Especially since they commonly list items for double, triple and even quadruple the items actual value, so a T&T half off sale is still a nice profit for them and they get plenty of movement from folks thinking the deals are unbeatable.
Not really a sale after all (IMO).
Of course I was not interested in almost any of it anyway, so perhaps my judgment of that T&T sale is being skewed by my complete and total disinterest.
To many, the Clearance Sale is a huge deal, to me it looks more like is T&T trying to get rid of overstock by selling the stock at more realistic prices.

I am sure that many folks will find a few gems (gems to them) that they cannot pass up for the price.
I will admit also... that at $1.99 (or even .99) even an almost useless splat book can be cheap entertainment.
Still, After searching through both pages twice (I picked the view choice for 200 items per page) my shopping cart remains empty....

Beasts of Lejend Author's Edition (signed)
I have seen this sell for less than that on E-Bay not just once, but on several occasions, and the SALE price for T&T is $89.99 for Mint, or just $80.99 in used condition....

I have a Mint set in the original Shrink Wrap, in case anyone is interested in a real sale. 8)

Just waiting to hear back from the seller, but anyone have an idea on what shipping should be to the UK on these three? Don't know the weight, so I can't check on the sites.

EDIT - Seller has come back already, $15 shipping! Sounds like a deal. 25 bucks for all 3 inc shipping to the UK    :)

Package turned up today! Very, very impressed with the seller. The books are faultess, the packaging took a little damage, but the books were fine.

All three books and shipping for a few pence under £17. Chuffed with that!  :D

well, first very, very quick scan is positive and I'm looking to reading these properly. Thanks for the tips!

Also, as an aside, I think its mighty impressive that they turned up quicker than several UK sellers I've purchased from!

The Wizards Cabal (Can't recall this one)
Redwood Scar (Didn't put me off, so must have been alright)
Dave Arneson's Blackmoor  (of course this has merit as a good book)

However if you can get City of Gods and Temple of the Frog you'll have the best Blackmoor books for 3.x

I agree.  I will wait on a large lot on ebay or a far better sale.

Interesting that they don't have the later modules.  I wonder how collectible the later ones are going to be.  They were released late and if I recall, had some distribution issues.  Their release seemed to coincided with the announcement of 4e so sales were probably slow.  I'm sure Troll and Toad bought a large inventory of them (50+ copies of each? 100+?) at a cheap price and they are now out of some of them.

I noticed that Noble Knight is selling a VG Temple of the Frog for $40, T&T is out of stock and no recent sales on Ebay.  Should check and see if distributors are out.

There may be a perception that the later modules had more value?

The Blackmoor publications have not been a real study of mine.

Whenever I look at them I get the same feeling I have when I handle the Mayfair Games version of City State of the Invincible Overlord.  Creepy.

I want to collect these items, but not at prestige prices.  Until they come down to what they are worth, $5 or less, they will not be joining my library.  A Paizo.com $2 sale would seem most appropriate for Zeitgeist products.

Searching around a bit, it looks like two factors are driving the price of Zeitgeist modules City of the Gods and Temple of the Frog.

1)  Name confusion between the Zeitgeist modules and the older TSR modules.

2)  Amazon prices giving sellers delusions of grandeur.

Sometimes NKG's prices do that too.

3) They really are good modules.

No seriously when I read the new City of Gods I was very impressed.  Don't even look at the Dungeon of Blackmoor if you can help it.  Redwood Scar was a long time ago and it didn't seem to resonate like CotG and TotF did from reading them.

Here's a 17 book D20 lot with a $30 Buy-It-Now price.

A good set of books for someone who is getting into D20 collecting.

Shipping is $12, for a total of $42.  Still, right at $2.50 per book is a pretty good lot price for an Acaeum member to snag.

There are several in the lot that I don't have.

This is an interesting one.  It is an Arthurian campaign book that mostly succeeds.

Legends of Excalibur is a sourcebook I go back to a lot in my own campaign.  This is a D20 item that did not get a lot of attention back in the day.  RPG Objects was not one of the most successful publishers, but I like this book.
