I've always championed Gryhpon's Legacy...I think it's one of the best post-2000 adventures ever published.  The campaign (this was the only item ever released) looked really intriguing and I was sorry to see it never released.  The module itself has a good backstory and setting, a good adventure locale and plot, decent monsters and tactics, and is just very solid (like most of Baur's work).

I wasn't impressed with most of the Fast Forward stuff, although quality could vary.  If it's dirt cheap most of it is worth picking up for idea mining.

OK

You guys just convinced me to BIN a copy of Gryphon's Legacy from one of my favorite E-Bay sellers.
At $4.72 and less than $4 shipping I think it should be a good purchase.

UK eBayers can get it for about £2 from Achaeron with £1 shipping.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

I have an extra copy too and the gaming store in Brampton has a bunch of copies too.  I can probably get it anywhere in Canada for $7 CAD shipping in.

Do you know if ArcheronGames and archkar are the same seller? Seem to list the same items, same shipping deal of £1 for whatever amount bought. Both in Hull too.   :?

ArcheronGames is rhe BIN stuff.
Archkar is the open auction stock.
At least that's as best I can make out what's going one there.

Ah, makes sense. I might pick up a couple of items from them over the next week, depends on the DCC items I think. #29 and Rat King Saga look favourites at the moment

What is the price on the DCC Saga of the Rat King?

I wouldn't be getting one from England, but I don't recall seeing one on Ebay before.

You should still be able to get one from Noble Knight for $20.

I'm sure the seller can cut you a cheaper deal than his eBay price for an off eBay sale.  :D

Saga of the Rat King's peaked my curiosity: I wonder how many other d20 publishers are going retro with the 1e ruleset for some of their new publications?! A possible trend?
I like 1e, 2e and 3e for different reasons, and I'd welcome more 1e- or 2e-ruleset retro modules.
I thought Witch Queen might be the same--no such luck.
Does anyone know of any others besides SRK?

Goodman Games published DCC#12.5 Iron Crypt of the Heretics (Goldenrod) for 1E, they also published Saga of the Rat King, Saga of the Witch Queen and The Black Pearl/The Golden Auroch Flip Book for 1E. There may be others, but those are the ones I know, and here's a copy of the 1E DCC#12.5 going dirt cheap with 20 mins to go....

Yellow border DCC12.5 = 1e

$15 for the reprint vs. $108 for the 1st print (run of 60): just a slight difference there.
