I have a few Steve Jackson d20 modules with silver covers like that, but not that one. The one's I have are d20 versions of the original Steve Jackson Fighting Fantasy books.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

There are 6 or 7 Fighting Fantasy D20 modules that were converted from the original Fighting Fantasy books.

If anyone has an extra copy of Deathtrap Dungeon module, I'd be interested.

8 actually:
   * The Warlock of Firetop Mountain
   * Caverns of the Snow Witch
   * Deathtrap Dungeon
   * Sorcery 1: The Shamutanti Hills
   * Trial of Champions
   * Sorcery 2: Kharé - Cityport of Traps
   * Forest Of Doom
   * Sorcery 3: The Seven Serpents

I'm curious if anyone has the downloads from these on their old site, I don't think I picked them up even though I have all the modules.

I love the fighting fantasy line. Still missing 7 books from the old series, but I hadn't heard about these modules. (Anyone collecting the old series of solo books, there are UK versions and USA versions. The UK versions are a larger format but I haven't compared the two for content).

I was trying to complete my set of these a while back but never finished - I probably still need a half dozen of them too.  A number of them were also rereleased not so long ago (within the last 10 years anyway).  Most are slightly revised versions of the originals and renumbered but a few new ones were produced as well:

I have a few of these silver d20 books, maybe two or three copies of a three titles. I just never put them on eBay 'cos I figured they wouldn't sell. Kinda like the d20 adventures of the Works of Shakespear. I have a few of those, but who would want that sort of stuff? And who would think to write d20 Shakespearian andventures in the first place!?

Yep its the second one.  Although that is a bit higher than what I really want to pay for it.  The other 7 I have picked up for around $5 each.

This strikes me as a pretty good lot.  Four items, including Gryphon's Legacy and Tome of Levity for just over $11 including shipping.

Another set of four modules from the same seller.  Four D20 adventures from Fast Forward Entertainment for $11 including shipping.

This lot includes Orcfest.  I have't read it, but how could you go wrong with that title!

Fast Forward Entertainment did not exactly blaze a starry trail of glory across the OGL landscape, but some of their products are pretty good.

I won that listing (THANKS FOR POSTING IT)

At  $5.95 plus reasonable shipping, the lot was more than worth the cost for Orcfest alone.

Orcfest: As you suspected, The title basically says it all.

Still reading the others, but Orcfest looks like it would be fun to play or DM.

I will be posting a thread in the General Forum as a short Non-expert review of this book.

Another of the four books in that lot is:

Demonic Lairs.

An accessory by James M. Ward.

Ten Lairs for ten outsiders from the Encylopedia of Demons and Devils...

Nuff said.... you guys dont need me to clarify what this book has to offer and the authors name alone should be enough to make many want the supplement.

The other two books in that lot are adventure modules.

One (Temple of the Troll God) by Timothy Brown.

The other (Slave Pits of the Goblin King) by James M. Ward

The two modules are part of a trilogy modules that can be used seperately, or as a campaign.

Unfortunately this lot was Missing one of the trilogy and my E-Bay searches have not found it yet. :(

I am missing Fortress of the Ogre Chietain (which is the first of the three if used as a campaign).

A HUGE dissapointment for me is that ALL of the Fast Forward Books offered free downloads on the web site.

Including additional maps and other data, even free adventures.

Of course that web site no longer even exists and the downloads are not available anywhere that I know of.  :evil:

By a set of unlikely circumstances, I have a number of the early Fast Forward Entertainment items signed by James Ward.

Every time Orcfest comes up I either have no money or there is something else just...too...sweet.

There has to be someone out there who has the Fast Forward downloads still available.

The Fast Forward Entertainment books were literally the first D20 books I read.  They illustrate some of the good and bad things about the D20 creative movement:
1.  New ideas tried out by new people.
2.  Computer-generated maps, often slugged from color to black and white.

The downloads were another nice feature of the new D20 wave.  However, it's sad now to search the internet for those companies and find domain name squatters rather than living, creating game sites.

I still have hope for Necromancer Games.

I'm a bit surprised that Gryphon's Legacy isn't a bit more popular.  Its a fairly good module by Wolfgang Baur who has done other TSR stuff, Kobold Quarterly, etc.
