Excactly: you can definitely work around the OGL restrictions by creating mind-flayer-like minis, beholder-like minis, etc. If you feel hte need to follow the OGL at all (does it even apply to miniatures??), there are plenty of equivalent monsters out there that you can leverage that are close enough to the originals that it's not a big deal to make it an "umbra hulk" or whatever instead.

Sorry guys, this model is far too big to cast in metal. It'll be a resin casting, in 5 pieces, maybe 6. He's about 45mm across the head and 380mm long, so that works out at roughly 9' wide and 75' long in miniature scale.

I'm making good progress, so I'll post another pic later today.

Here are the latest pics of the Purple Worm. Pretty close to finished, just got to seperate him into castable pieces, and do a bit of tidying work. I'm hoping he'll be available in early May 08.

Here are the greens for the new 'DM5b - Gnoll Warriors II' and 'DM5c - Gnoll Warriors III'. They're head and weapon variants of the original 2 Gnolls released last month.

I'm hoping they'll be available about a month from now. I'll add better photos to the 'Coming Soon' page on my website when I get chance.

Also, here's a pic of 'DM7 - Slime, Ooze, Jelly & Pudding', on 40mm round and 50mm square bases.

Here are some photos of the new Bugbear Chieftain. He's also pictured with a couple of DM1 Bugbear Warriors.

I'm hoping that he'll be available, with the Gnoll Warrior variants and the Slimes, in mid-May. The Purple Worm should be ready around the end of May.
