Figures when I spot a copy of Heroes Vol.1 #1 it would end up in a lot with a bunch of other stuff I don't need and be US-only. :D

Looks like it was BINned anyway. For reference (someone check my maths), £10 UK postage minus the handling probably amounts to about 3kg - which is too heavy to go by airmail and has to go Parcelforce. So costs would be in the region of $60-$70 (28 days), $80-90 (5 days). Al, what do you think?

Thanks for the help, guys. Might be better that it was BINed....

That's certainly the wizard that was gold-plated by Grenadier unless someone is trying to pass along a fake.  It's a very cool rarity from the official AD&D miniatures line of the time.

The seller says the mini does not appear to be painted, so it is likely the gold-plated version.

I've bought from Nogrod before.  If they're from the same source as those items (which they appear to be), then whoever it was who owned the books kept them in relatively good condition -- though it's possible that there may be markings on the inside.  (Couple of the GURPS books had the errata written in.  Neatly written, but still written in.)

I note that they have two of the MegaTraveller alien books as well.  Those will be interesting to see what they go for.

Edit: I see there's notes on some of them that there is marking on the inside.

I only bid on it for the copy of X1 - you rarely see that one on ebay!

(IIRC Sewars was quite a decent fanzine as well. Like many gamers in the UK I used to have a load of odd fanzines, one or two issues brought on a whim through the WD classifieds, or the rather more informative Imagine articles. (Wish I hadn't thrown them all away  ))
