Seriously, I've had lots of fun with T&T solo adventures. I'd love to try playing it as a real RPG, but never had a group that was up for it.

And the mechanics have a certain elegant simplicity.

i always liked a simple straight-forward format. you dont have to worry about bucket loads of rules or any form of mechanics, you can just get on with it and concentrate on enjoying the game.

interesting but already overpriced because uk market or exchange rate?? signed first in fine sold around $25 or $30 with little interest too cheap i thought. value in rq is in the extras

Doesn't the second edition RQ rulebook usually go for $25 or more?

should be able to get cheaper in any color but mostly flat on prices for rqI & II. exception is hardback at about double that
was fooled by low rqI price + missed out on editor annotated copy at $110 or thereabout as was using too cheap a base value in my head
edit - rqI is not common. just not valuable at current time

The seller is asking a pretty high premium for the signature. Not to mention the shipping is pretty high for with Canada.

Some of the the C&S Sourcebooks were perfect bound (i.e with a flat glued spine) and so are prone, after 30 odd years, to crack and lose pages. Worth asking the seller if the spine is stapled/glued and if the latter, in good condition.

Admittedly, I know next to nothing about Traveller stuff, but about 2 or 3 months ago, I tried selling issues #9 & #13 on Ebay and I couldn't even garner a single bid on either one of them through 2 full weeks of auctions, the second week of which I had $0.99 opening bids for them. I ended up selling them along as "freebies" with a Traveller Fanzine (the name of which is escaping me right now) and I still only got like $5 total. :scratch:

I suspect this is just a really bad case of a newbie bidding war gone extremely bad which is seemingly happening all over the place recently it seems.

i've also seen them sell a few times for lowish amounts danny, so i wouldnt get overly excited about them chummer. if you want them, stick em on your list and have some patience and you will snap em up cheap in time.

course its your call....

Once it passed $300 I glued my wallet shut, just in case. Strange thing was, I was following the bidding before it jumped to $200 and even though there were a few yellow stars involved some of the main bidders had 5 year track records with plenty of feedback. Head scratch.

The early ones are a bit hard to find, but not that hard.

I'd say that my guess is it had something to do with the fact that the seller listed all 24 issues at once, but no one bidder won more than two of the auctions. :scratch:
